The food is really delicious and something for everyone who likes down-to-earth German cuisineThey are really big portionsThere were 4 of us there and the service was very friendlyWe were around 20 euros per person for a meal and a drink

This was my first visit to the B189 service area. It was a really nice, warm and friendly welcome.A friend recommended the farmer's breakfast to me.I can only recommend this, it's just like you make yourself at home and I know it from when I was a child.A visit here is definitely worth it.

According to Google, the restaurant is open until 10 p.m. Since I, as a truck driver, wanted to eat something warm in the evening, I unfortunately had to find out from the gas station next door that the restaurant is only open every now and then and is mainly only used for celebrations and as a hotel.The operator should therefore revise the opening times because most truckers follow Google and like to drive to restaurants with truck parking spaces.

It was just delicious and so good. Fried to perfection. Hamburger schnitzel with fried potatoes, vegetables. The schnitzel was a real schnitzel. Not that pressed stuff. The restaurant is clean and friendly. The host is super friendly. The dog is well behaved and friendly. Suitable for children and scaredy-cats. Price was reasonable.I only found one defect.The knife was a bit dull.Otherwise highly recommended.

Even though it was actually a rest day, we were able to eat delicious schnitzel with asparagus here, great service! with good value for money. Portions were huge. We will definitely come back again.

We were very satisfied, had nice conversations with the boss and his companion 👍The food was great, reading the food from the computer was a bit unusual for me, but you are open to everything. I can only recommend it.We were already there at Christmas, price performance is okay.

It used to be a great restaurant. On our last visit (birthday party), we felt dismissed. The waiter had already asked for the food order, even though not all the guests were there yet because the cooks were already in the starting blocks (meaning something like, order your food immediately so that they can finish work). The food wasn't really well presented (as a side salad there was a lettuce leaf with a 0.5cm thick slice of tomato). The mushrooms were from a can, which isn't a bad thing, but in my opinion the price of the dish wasn't justified. But thank God almost everything is a matter of taste. I can no longer recommend the restaurant. Too bad...

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. Unfortunately, the food was absolutely not tasty and far too expensive for what you get there. The rest stop also looks very old. The only thing you can't complain about is the service, it was very good.
