We visited Jochen Basler this summer (2021) and it was a great experience. He was very humble and had great overall knowledge of wines and was very good to inform us of his own and wines in general. His wines are of a great variety, although a young vinyard, and the quality is top notch!! If you're in the area a visit is a must and can be highly recommended. If I could give more stars, I would.

We stayed in one of the holiday apartments and felt comfortable from the first moment.The apartments are in a listed building, which has the appropriate charm. Everything is newly renovated, and in my opinion the perfect mix of old and new was achieved.The hosts and owners of the winery are very friendly people. We were even able to spontaneously do a little wine tasting and enjoy the delicious wine.We recommend!

We spent 3 nights in the "small" holiday apartment and felt 100% comfortable.The holiday apartment was recently completed and there is really nothing missing.Jochen was an extremely friendly and personable host and winemaker. Despite his own upcoming vacation, we were able to do a spontaneous wine tasting and enjoy the delicious wines.We would come back at any time! :)

We stayed in the large holiday apartment for one night and absolutely loved it! Lovingly restored old house in a quiet location, very successful combination of modern furnishings and old furniture and doors. The apartment was super clean, the welcome was warm and we were very satisfied! We'd love to come back and stay longer.
