A really beautiful property, the rooms are all beautifully simple. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us and our children. It's not a hotel!! but a youth hostel and if you're expecting a hotel, this isn't the right place for you.We all enjoyed the food and when we asked, they were always willing to listen to us and did the best they could.We felt completely satisfied and looked after.Yes, the windows can only be tilted for safety reasons. But after consultation it is also possible to open the window completely.Thank you very much for the beautiful days

The property is really great and very nicely decorated. There is plenty of space for the children to play and “hang out”. You can be loud sometimes and just enjoy your vacation. My daughter quickly made friends and had a lot of fun. That was the main thing for me. We were there almost 2 weeks.The breakfast was great, the dinner was okay. We didn't expect anything earth-shattering for the “classic” category and we ate out here and there.Unfortunately, the rooms do not all have their own bathroom, which is the main reason why we would not come back. It's also relatively simple to set up, but with two mattresses on top of each other I was able to sleep without feeling the slatted frame ;) If that doesn't bother you, you're in great hands there.If you travel without a car you will need at least a bicycle, although the buses run in front of the door but only at very limited times. From the train station you can easily make trips to Hamburg/Sylt/St. Peter Ording etc.The employees were all very nice.

We were there from July 30th to July 1st, 2024In the Husum youth hostel.Our room was fine.Youth hostel rooms.The grounds are beautifully designed and the hostel also offers cozy rooms.Dining room a bit small but a larger room has also been opened up.But then you still walk a corner into the city or to the North Sea..For a small town, Husum has many museums and a great atmosphere.Booking and processing went smoothly even though the card reader was on strike.Husum was a great start to our North Friesland vacation.

Traditional house with lots of charm. The new hostel manager Marcus and his team are very nice and committed. We felt very comfortable. The food was rich and delicious.

Stoppppp!!!!! Don't book it, the rooms are not well equipped, there is only one socket for everyone and you are not allowed to connect a multi-plug. The food is inedible, I know it from youth hostels that there is a buffet. Here it is prescribed what is available and not even enough. We had all inclusive and there was no lunch you had to make it yourself in the morning and also had to clean the dining room. The staff were immediately unfriendly and gave us a speech about what we weren't allowed to do and that's something we really didn't want to hear after a 12-hour bus ride. We weren't allowed to stay downstairs because it was an escape route, but that was the entrance. On the whole it was absolutely not worth it, poor price/performance ratio and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
