Stayed here 1998 also and not much have changed. If it wasn't for work I would not visit this village in the woods. No bar, no small shop, nothing. But Zinn is still ok, providing most of the things I felt I would need. …

Outdated house, 70s charm. Room was clean. I booked without breakfast. Since I was out all day, it was ok for the 2 nights.

Yes, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐we were very satisfied. We found Mrs. and Mr. Zinn, the hosts, to be very friendly, helpful and flexible. The nearby restaurant, run by the Zinn family, was excellent, the selection was sufficient and the quality of the regional products used impressed us. We can recommend this hospitable house at any time.

The rooms are clean and the surrounding area is nice. Unfortunately, it's been a while since the last maintenance work. There was actually no service at all and you were left to your own devices. Breakfast is different, the eggs were probably just dragged carelessly through the warm water. For guests who didn't have breakfast on time at 8 a.m. there was nothing left and nothing was added. For dinner at McD... level you had to make a pilgrimage about 800 meters up the hill. There was no choice either. We were there twice. The first and last time.

The hotel is in a quiet location, but is getting old. The rooms are clean and tidy, but a renovation would be desperately needed. This makes the atmosphere seem cold and uncomfortable. We were there from Friday to Sunday. What was booked was bed and breakfast and 1x half board. The check-in was quick and to the point, as the landlord also owns the campsite with a beach and restaurant, which was in high season. After check-in we were left to our own devices. You could take drinks from the refrigerator in the breakfast room. There was no longer anyone to contact for any questions until the next morning at breakfast time. To eat you had to go to a nearby restaurant at the campsite. The food there is a matter of taste - it was absolutely not our taste. More like McDonald's standard. The service was quite annoyed and unfriendly. Breakfast was plentiful, but the eggs were half raw. There was no refill. Those who came later were allowed to eat leftovers. The response to criticism was pretty mushy. In any case, we won't go there anymore.

The hotel is located in a quiet camp.Rooms are clean and nice.The single rooms booked had a balcony.The staff is very friendly and helpful.Happy to come back!

Nice little hotel, basically quite secluded from the big city, but a very good starting point for trips to Edersee, Thuringia or even south.

Nice three star hotel, rarely staff in the hotel, check-in takes place at a restaurant about a kilometer away. Hotel is clean, meets the three star requirements and is in a beautiful setting.. recommended.

Unfortunately no service staff on site. Except for breakfast, everything takes place at the nearby Campingplatu.
