The guesthouse is very nice and cozy. Rooms are very clean and lovingly furnished, and very modern bathrooms. The Schlegel family are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very tasty and there is something for everyone. Highly recommended :-) Thank you for the lovely stay.

We were passing through and booked accommodation for one night. Nice little place with restaurants. Close to the motorway, so no long entrance and exit to the motorway.

Small hotel with about 6 rooms.Everything modernized, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, very quiet! Enough parking spaces on our own property.Huge TV, if you need it😄...Self-service breakfast (buffet), sufficient.Unfortunately there was hardly any contact with the host, which we thought was a shame, but there was a key box with 24-hour access.Would come again😊.P.S. The steep stairs to the rooms could be a bit difficult for older people.

Beautiful modern guesthouse on the edge of the Harz!The old inn was renovated with a lot of heart and eye for detail and leaves little to be desired. The rooms are comfortable, very clean, renovated in a modern way and designed in such a way that we were always pleasantly surprised by the great ideas of the operators.The guesthouse offers a spacious holiday apartment for families.For hiking vacationers, the many hiking trails are just a short bus ride away.There are even e-bike charging stations.For motorcyclists, the guesthouse is the perfect starting point for trips in and around the Harz Mountains. A parking lotDirectly at the hotel is motorcycle and (of course) car friendly.The hosts are friendly, open and try very hard to offer their guests a pleasant stay.We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

Rooms were well furnished, everything worked well. It was just very restless on the street at night. Otherwise we would like to come back. We also had a dog 🐕 with us. Stairs were a bit steep.

We were passing through and decided on Fernweh Harz because of the many very good reviews.A very nice, modern and cozy little hotel.What was renovated with a lot of passion by the Schlegel family.The car park with sufficient space and parking spaces is located directly at the hotel.Check-in went smoothly with a key safe and access code, which we received online along with a very friendly greeting from Mr. Schlegel.The room was neat and clean and was equipped with everything we needed and we had a flat screen TV that was very large for the conditions ;-).The quality of the internet could be a little better.We were able to have a very long and peaceful breakfast starting at 6:30 a.m.We also found the breakfast room cozy, modern and warmly decorated and also had a small play area for children, which was perfect for our little daughter :-).The breakfast buffet was fresh, sufficient and varied, the rolls were particularly good.Overall, we felt very comfortable in the small but nice Hotel Fernweh Harz, everything was well organized and the staff was very friendly.Which is why we can recommend this hotel.
