My husband (wheelchair user) and I spent our vacation in the ground floor apartment in September. First of all, the positive things about this apartment. It is very large and spacious. The beds and mattresses are in good condition. There were 2 x fresh towels in 12 days of stay. On Sunday the landlady was at the door with fresh cake. Unfortunately, that couldn't make up for the rest. The apartment is in very bad condition. No matter what you touch, something is always defective. Starting with the shower, where the locking screw is missing. The freezer compartment is held together by duct tape. A button on the oven is loose. The bathroom door handle is loose and the pin is missing. The grate in the refrigerator is rusting away. Not a socket in the entire bathroom. Difficult for hair dryers and razors. The drain pipe in the guest toilet is leaking. Mold is growing in the joints of the shower.Please don't get me wrong. I don't walk around the apartment with a white glove, but that was just too much. Even if it is a very cheap apartment, I expect it to be clean and functional.Now about the friendliness of the landlords. We paid a deposit. We made a mistake when transferring the remaining amount. When we noticed this, we immediately asked whether we should transfer or bring the money in cash. Cash payment was requested. When we weren't yet in the apartment, we were already asked about the missing money. Didn't ask if we had a good trip. Quite strange. The next day we sat on the terrace for coffee with relatives from the Allgäu. Just then the lawn needed to be mowed. I understand that lawns need to be mowed. However, you should ask politely beforehand and not when you are already there. It was the same a few days later when the hedge had to be trimmed. We are still waiting for the guest card today. I don't know if we were even reported.To sum up: in my opinion the apartment is not a 3 and certainly not a 4-star holiday apartment. Definitely fine for people with a small budget and who don't value functioning equipment. For us once and not again.

Beautiful view from Toni apartment! Very friendly owners, very beautiful and quiet surroundings. Many well-marked hiking trails.

We booked the lower apartment for a week in autumn and were very satisfied. The apartment is large and well equipped. A dog is also allowed here. The two landlords are very friendly.Below Aigis you will pass a friendly organic dairy farmer who, if you ask nicely, will sell you fresh cow's milk.The area is ideal for hiking until the tread is off your hiking boots. Oberstdorf can be reached within 40 minutes by car. There you can romp up or down the mountains away from the mountain lifts. Small, sometimes very impassable hiking trails with small streams, waterfalls and small bridges run up to the mountain stations. Partly spectacular for Rhinelanders. So, it's worth it.Oh yes, I can also recommend the beer from the Schäffler brewery (small private brewery in Missen-Wilhams). You also seem to be able to eat very well there. Every time we drove by there, the restaurant was packed. I was in the restaurant once and everything looked very appealing.have fun everybody
