We went for brunch on Sunday, unfortunately it wasn't brunch. It was a normal breakfast and lunch buffet. We started at 10 a.m. with breakfast from the buffet, where all the hotel guests also had breakfast, at 11 a.m. the breakfast was served and cleared away, between 11 and 12.30 there was nothing at all, even the coffee machine was already cleaned, it was standing in the room, it was very loud, we weren't even asked if we wanted something to drink. Lunch was supposed to be served at 12.30 p.m., we then asked at 12.50 p.m. when it started, the food was already there OK but unfortunately it has nothing to do with brunch. The service team was overwhelmed with everything and always had to ask

I stayed at the hotel last weekend for a total of 4 nights. I felt very comfortable here. The location is unique, integrated into nature with a wonderful view. Incredibly quiet, even though a large company was invited on Saturday. The boss of the hotel was very accommodating! He even let me use his private backpack for a hike. I recovered wonderfully here. The room was clean. I enjoyed the food. I'll definitely come back.Kind regards Viviane

Very nice location with great food and a frequently changing menu. Attractive and romantic beer garden with a great view not far from the ruins of Frauenberg Castle. Pretty and dreamy inside in winter with a fireplace, you can have a great time here. When you see the great building from afar, you really want to stop by. We will definitely spend our next Christmas party here again with our Maier tailoring studio. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Rating restaurant (not rooms) Yes, the location is nice. Especially in summer on the terrace. I wanted to show a friend the location and buy some ice cream. The service wasn't good. The cream was sour, dumped and I was just about to give her the homemade ice cream that I knew from before. There were also ice crystals in it, so it was older. The cream was objected to. The reaction was that she was given a new bowl and she tried to scrape the remaining, now liquid, ice cream without cream into the new bowl. Sorry, that's not possible, normally a house of this quality should bring new ice cream. Well, my girlfriend had a great first impression, won't be going there anymore. Then I went there again with a friend and the service here could clearly be improved. That was in 2023... now (summer 2024) there was a larger event there where my parents were also invited. Disaster.. bad impression. Even if you are a trainee/learner? has, the service should be good. The boss is responsible for the quality and training of his service staff! Among other things, water was drunk from cups, overall service was probably very poor. Especially if you pay a lot here, you should be friendly and the service and quality are good. The cake was good, but also from outside. A lot is earned from the drinks. My parents' conclusion: larger events, such as family celebrations or coffee after a funeral, should no longer be held here.* Service * is actually not rocket science and you don't need a degree for it. Be friendly, courteous, you shouldn't run after everything. It's a shame, the location is nice, but the rest should be fine too. A good homemade ice cream in summer attracts many guests. Just a few well-made varieties are enough...For example, if you look at the ice cream parlor in Rauschenberg, where guests even queue up for homemade ice cream: Seebode also has a nice location: you could also offer homemade ice cream here!Man... this is such a nice hotel, make something of it!* trains your service staff ** make guests feel welcome and be approachable, not on the run** ensures consistent quality and well-maintained sanitary facilities*First impressions count and every guest counts. A bad impression is communicated and guests stay away. Read your customer reviews and learn from them - it's a real shame. With goodwill 2 stars for the location, terrace...
