I cannot recommend the Hotel Baxmann. After a strenuous day, I was really looking forward to the sauna. The sauna is prominently advertised on the hotel's homepage and in the brochure. According to the receptionist, the hotel doesn't have a sauna at all. When asked about the information on the homepage, the receptionist backtracked and explained that the sauna was closed. Instead of the sauna, however, there was mold in the shower and a dirty toilet. In the room there were heavily scratched surfaces, a broken handle on the window, a broken switch on the bed light, cobwebs from the ceiling, a poor WiFi connection that was unable to upload a few photos, a sagging mattress. Everything you don't need happens to you here at the Hotel Baxmann.

OK for an overnight stay. Were on the Weser cycle path. There is storage space for bicycles, but no charging option for the batteries. Everything is a bit old, but clean. Breakfast standard but also OK. Not necessarily recommended for a longer stay...

Worst service I have ever experienced. Reception not manned, even when checking out you had to throw the key into a box. Left something in the room and left a note and a message to the hotel. There is no answer.I cannot recommend this shed. It was also not informed beforehand that there was no breakfast and no coffee and that you should go to REWE.

The hotel is very old and dilapidated. It requires renovation and replacement of furniture. It's cold in the rooms. In theory, according to booking, you could buy breakfast, but in practice it didn't work. In the morning there was no staff, not even at the reception. I'm sorry to write this, but it's one of the worst hotels I've ever been to (and certainly in Europe).I do not recommend.

Very nice and helpful owner who made it possible for us to get a room outside the specified time and came in especially for us. The furnishings are a bit old-fashioned but clean.

So it wasn't as bad as the reviews here. Bathroom clean, furniture a bit older, bed was as good as new. Great for fitters, large parking lot and shopping opportunities opposite.

OK for one night.Time has stood still here, if you love a Bahama beige bathroom, this is the place for you.The room's furnishings also correspond to the 80s with photo wallpaper (palm beach) behind the bed.The hallway smells miserably of smoke.The older lady who was on duty both days was very nice and service-oriented.Breakfast was OK for €12.

If you can't find anything else and you only have to bridge one day, it's better than spending the night outside on a park bench. But only if you don't have a sleeping bag with you. Our double room smelled sweet and pungent, the beds were more than saggy and extremely uncomfortable. The TV is tiny and old. The bathroom is not particularly clean but otherwise ok (large shower, large sink). Old facilities, closet cannot be used because of the smell, beds too short for tall people. Far too expensive for what is on offer (almost €100 a night without breakfast).

Yikes, time has stood still here. It was a trip to the 70s. The hotel is very well located and easy to reach from the motorway. The lady responsible for reception and breakfast is very attentive. It wasn't her fault. However, there is no elevator and the bed/mattress were older and therefore not really comfortable. There is breakfast, but it is quite simple. The nice lady from the service brings as much coffee as you like if you wish. So kudos to them.

I survived in room 11 from 07/12/23 to 07/13/23. The pictures of the bathroom probably say more than words. I paid €63.00/night for it.The operator should just be ashamed of themselves!
