A bit worn, it was especially annoying that the toilet ran. But perfect location, nice breakfast. Dinner a little boring - traditional German food.

The furniture in the rooms is suitable for bulky waste. The bathroom definitely needs to be renovated. The joints of the tiles are partly contaminated with germs. The breakfast and dinner menu tasted good.

Wonderful restaurant with the beautiful view and the river running below. A bit to many different menus to chose from :) but my Forelle was nicely fried ( fish which was caught in the river below :) with crispy skin, sooo yummy! And my husband was happy with his schnitzel. Very friendly staff who quickly bring drinks and clean the tables. The food takes time, but this is the good sign that it was not prepared before. Final shot of Schierke famous herbal liquor was a nice touch.

Very nicely located house with a great terrace. Rooms are a bit old, but have been modernly upgraded. A hairdryer should be standard these days. Kitchen appears young and innovative. However, the kitchen should be honest and the guest wants to get what is on the menu. In an upscale atmosphere with upscale prices, canned mushrooms, spray cream and bucket salads are a no go!

Ideal for overnight stays. Clean rooms, although a bit old, but that's not a bad thing. The floor coverings in the stairwell and in the guest room would benefit from being renewed. The staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Friendly staff, a completely adequate breakfast buffet and clean rooms. The flooring in the hallway and stairwell could certainly be replaced. All in all, absolutely fine.

Altenbrak is a huge construction site and the “yodeling master” fits right in. Not inviting from the outside, in need of renovation, I canceled my reservation. The train journey is an imposition.😕

We were there for lunch, the selection of food was small but nice, when the weather was good it was great to sit outside and the service was very friendly and accommodating!Gladly again!

Poppy seed cake very tasty coffee too. If you're in the village anyway, it's easily accessible via stairs directly from the street. Nice view of the Bode from the terrace. Staff pleasant.

We really liked the guesthouse, the surroundings are excellent, the staff is very nice and friendly and responds to the guests' wishes. The food is always very good and plentiful. We would definitely like to come back.
