Went to the restaurant and waited 1.5 hours for the food.

We were invited with several people. A menu was ordered. We were there at 12 and finished eating at 4:30. The organization was a disaster to provide a waiter for so many people. Mini bowls of side dishes and 2 sauces. It wasn't great on all counts. The waiter really tried, but there was no apology for why everything went so wrong.

Very unfriendly and stroppy reception - and that doesn't even begin to describe it.The restaurant was completely empty and the employee was more than unfriendly.To get a look at the restaurant, we looked around the corner and were greeted with the words 'get out of my restaurant'. When we wanted to take a look at the menu, we were rudely told that it was also visible outside We didn't notice that at that moment.We left straight away and drove to an outstanding inn just a few kilometers away. Best decision. It's better to drive a few minutes further and receive a warm welcome.

Restaurant visit -We ordered as a group. Greetings from the kitchen came after more than 90 minutes!!!!When we asked when the main course would arrive, we received a somewhat rude answer.The main course took another 30 minutes.Waitress made a mistake when billing. When asked politely, there was no apology or anything like that.The difference was slapped on the table with a sappy comment and that was it.That's probably not how it's supposed to work!

Have eaten at St.Hubertus several times. It was a pleasure every time. Especially the venison roulade. It's freshly cooked here, so you have to take your time. Would love to come back.

We reserved a table at 1:00 p.m.Food was taken at 1:05 p.m.Then after an hour there were .45 grains of seasoned rice. After another 35 minutes, the food was served. So for people who are hungry, take something to eat with you.

The food is wonderful, I can only recommend it. I've been here several times and am always satisfied. The staff is also very friendly, I would love to come back.

I stayed at this hotel with my grandson for two nights.Can't write anything negative. The hotel, like the rooms, are very clean. The service, like the manager of the house, are very friendly. Every wish is catered for.Many people complained about the small bathroom during the recessions.Well... it's small, but I don't want to live in it.Everything you need is in there. It's a nice little hotel, just the way I love it. The food is freshly prepared. And it tastes so good too.I would recommend this hotel.

You're missing something! ...don't you stop there and linger.The staff is extremely competent and courteous, they take the time not only to take the order, they respond kindly to special requests and they also take a few minutes to chat between serving.The dishes are a culinary delight, a real culinary delight from the starter to the dessert. Freshly prepared with love and dedication and presented on beautiful tableware.Take a break from the hustle and bustle and treat yourself to memorable moments in the St. Hubertus Restaurant.This review concerns the restaurant. We weren't accommodated there.

Saturday, July 20, 2024 at approximately 7:25 p.m. We would like to spontaneously eat something, the way to Magdeburg is still a long way. We used to come here often and even had a loyalty booklet. Three tables on the terrace were unoccupied. After a brief orientation, we sat down at a table for two. On the way to the table we were caught by the waiter's gaze. Shortly afterwards he spoke to us: "... can I do something for you"? We took our breath away, we had never been greeted so professionally in the restaurant! He explained to us that only guests with reservations can dine. Why don't you just set up one, or better yet several, displays at this restaurant right in the parking lot (- Closed party - or - Only for guests with reservations -) or put signs on the tables with - Reserved -? This way you avoid frustration and 1-star reviews and, above all, cheeky, sappy answers to the latter.

We were back in the Harz last week and ate at St. Hubertus for the first time. It's been clear for a long time that the people are nicer than ours. But once again everything was perfect, from the food to the service. At the end we showed our life-sized witch. Thanks to the nice team and the great waitress, we'll be happy to come back.

We have been satisfied guests in the restaurant for years! So both my wife and I celebrated our 60th birthday in the restaurant! We enjoyed going here with our family members for lunch and coffee. Always to our satisfaction! Today my wife and I had the spontaneous intention of stopping for lunch again. There were still a few tables available outside, but the waitress, who should have recognized us as long-standing and generous guests, denied us access because we asked her question We refused to make a reservation. On previous visits she always said goodbye to us with "see you next time". As we are now unfortunately disappointed to discover, that was just a phrase! This is how you recognize your loyal guests from the region! Our conclusion: I will definitely celebrate my 70th birthday party that I had already planned somewhere else and we won't be returning as guests either! A real shame!

Dear review reader,the Restaurant/Hotel St. Hubertus is in a wonderful location in the Harz Mountains. There is a view over the landscape and the house is very clean. I can only rate the gastronomic side of the hotel/restaurant because I didn't sleep in the hotel.The restaurant was very well maintained and clean, and nicely decorated. The staff consists of 3 people, a chef and 2 waitresses and unfortunately that's where the only problem I found begins. We were a group of 22 people and ordered well in advance. When we arrived we were greeted so warmly. One of the 2 waitresses had a very unfriendly and cold manner. When we were waiting for the food, we waited 2 hours for our food even though we had announced our arrival beforehand. The food tasted great and the portions were very large. The price was very reasonable for the dishes. LG

I travel on my motorbike and am always here in the Harz. The employees are friendly and neutral towards the biker. Climate correct, you tick what you want for breakfast. Large room for 1 person Cheap. Lots of hangers, floor-to-ceiling windows, with a view of the forest opposite. The street in front of the hotel is dead at night. The tour starting point is perfect for me. Best price, best U can get! 👍🏻
