Super dear owners! Were on the Albsteig, spent the night there! The owner cooked something for us on a Monday (OFF DAY)! Dogs welcome! Everyone was very nice and hospitable!!!

Unfortunately I only ate there, but the inn was in keeping with the style, the food was regional, fresh and a bit modern. I was thrilled and will definitely come back and stay overnight.

Went there to eat and it was very, very good. In addition, everyone, from the boss to the service staff, was very friendly and our dogs weren't a problem either. We really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back

Was only there one night. Rooms spacious and OK. Great location of the hotel. Dinner, coffee and cake were delicious. Unfortunately no breakfast buffet. Service friendly and helpful. Shuttle worked great in the afternoon and the next morning.... Dog no problem. 🙂

We stayed at the Landgasthof Kranz for one night on our Albsteig Black Forest hike. The transport service to and from the agreed meeting point was problem-free. Since I eat vegan, I was skeptical at first, but my expectations were exceeded. In the evening we got a salad, a potato rösti with various vegetables and chanterelles. In the morning a vegan breakfast with everything that goes with it, spread, vegan sausage and cheese... So we were able to tackle the next stage strengthened and with a rich packed lunch. The owners were very nice and friendly. Thank you very much 🙏Highly recommended

We got a spot outside and even though there was a road nearby, it was pleasantly quiet. The food there is so excellent😋 that we forgot to take pictures of it🙈 the ambience reflects the Black Forest...the service is simply top...you feel very well taken care of there😊...will be back soon👍

Always had a good meal at Kranz. Also offers regional and seasonal specialties. The criticisms about the swans are not at all justified, like ducks etc. they are considered game. Apparently vegetarians and vegans are leading a campaign to destroy the wreath. I just hope it doesn't work!

Sorry, but when I heard about the swans being shot. I ignore this economy. I find it very pathetic to shoot swans on the Rhine on Christmas Eve and then offer them in a restaurant. As if that were necessary.

Since I read the article about the swan meat on offer, I would NEVER eat here. I would be interested to know who the swan representative was, as it says in the article, who he is said to have met 12 years ago and who came with him to the hunt and agreed with it. I have been on the Wehr-Öflingen Swan Protection Committee for years and the chairwoman at the time would NEVER have agreed to it. It can only be a lie, same with the lead shot, unfortunately we keep finding lead shot bullets...

If you order “Flugwild” according to the menu, you will be served regional swan from the Rhine.(Badische Zeitung, January 2023). That's not right.The boss has already shot 16 swans this year and served them to his unwitting guests...
