I was on a compulsory confiscation trip in the Peace House. I was in a 3-person room with my girlfriend and it was very cramped for just the two of us and there was no privacy at all. We didn't have a real bathroom: the toilet was in a 1 square meter room, the sink was at the other end of the room, and there was no shower. The room was also dirty, there were cobwebs everywhere and there were yellow stains on the bed linen. You had to bring your own bed linen and towels. The mattresses were reminiscent of gym mats or air mattresses. The loft bed was crooked and wobbled. There was also trash everywhere in the beds. The food was OK. The activity options weren't as great as described on the internet, but it was okay since we had a lot of other programs because of the confiscation trip.I don't think it's okay that everyone paid the same price and the furnishings in the rooms were very different.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding with 76 guests at Haus Friede. The large hall was perfect for the event! From the planning of the process, the decoration, the food, etc., we were given very warm and honest advice and everything was implemented exactly according to our wishes. On the day itself, two very nice and attentive employees were there as contact persons the entire time! From the champagne reception to the buffet and coffee and cake, everything went smoothly and everything was very tasty and fresh! In general the atmosphere in the house was very warm.Anyone who wanted could book a room there after the party with breakfast the next morning. The rooms are getting old, but absolutely fine! The price-performance ratio was unbeatable! In short: you can have a great party there! :)

Let's start with the way there. If you don't want to get there by private vehicle or public transport, you have to be prepared for 50 meters of altitude and 15 minutes of mountain climbing. The view at the top is quite okay. Let's continue with the rooms, they were small with three of them a little tighter, the "bathroom" which is about the size of a storage room. And the sink is partly at the other end of the room. The mattresses are roughly like air mattresses. The heating doesn't work and it's a matter of luck which room you get because the rooms always have different furnishings. The communal showers were fine but a shelf would be nice. Food is the next point. The breakfast was okay, the scrambled eggs were dry and the butter was too hard. Quite a large selection of food. At lunch there was a really good salad bar, although there were some tasteless dishes that weren't the salad. Dinner was taken very literally, so there was bread. The dessert was quite good and the cold juice was also good. The area was large and well divided. The kiosk may have been a bit expensive but you still have an acceptable selection.

Bed sheets dirty and spiders and insects come out of the beds. There was only sparkling water and unseasoned food. Outdoor games, you could keep yourself busy as there was a games hall. Breakfast was good.

The youth hostel is remote so that if you don't drive you will have difficulties getting there. The food was very disappointing as you don't get a decent meal and it's the same every day.The rooms were dirty especially under the mattresses. Among other things, there was no soap available to wash your hands, which is why you had to go to the public toilets every time just to wash your hands.
