Schloss Ziethen - Hotel

A beautiful, magical place. Arrived around lunchtime on Good Friday just for a beer, received a very pleasant welcome and service. Very nice locationLovingly and creatively furnished. Five stars, gladly again

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere just outside Berlin lies Ziethen Castle. Following an invitation, I was an overnight guest and was able to enjoy the warmth of the service staff. There are very different rooms and for the price quoted I would have really expected higher quality. The mattresses were good, but the furnishings were simple. A wall in my room called for new paint and why there was no soap dispenser in the shower remains a mystery to me. There probably just wasn't enough room due to its tiny size. The food in the restaurant was expensive and in terms of quality and presentation, I've had better. The associated park is very beautiful and wonderfully quiet. Conclusion: a quiet night + dinner comes to around €300-350 for two - as I said, I had an invitation...

Beautiful place, stylish ambience, courteous staff. Recommended!

Because of the homepage we were very biased about the trip and were really looking forward to the hotel. However, when we arrived we noticed that the pictures were no longer what they were. More appearance than reality. It certainly had better times and nothing was renovated for a very long time. There were a handful of guests there. There was nothing set up for breakfast and the buffet was very, very clear and far from 4 stars (€22/person!!!). The paint is peeling off in many places. The colors of the fabrics do not match the interior of the womb. Cobwebs everywhere, including in the double windows. In our bathroom, the rain shower was installed so unprofessionally that the shower water flowed out through the shower door. This property deserves better. We only stayed one night and the room couldn't have been more than that. Anyone who dares to approach such an object should have a knack and a good eye. Here you are blind. Price/performance absolutely excessive. We will not recommend it and will not come back.

We were able to celebrate our wedding here at Ziethen Castle in the summer of 2023 and would like to share our experiences:From the first second everything was just right: the super nice and competent staff, the great and unique ambience and also that there was simply no wish too much in the planning. We felt comfortable right from the start and were sure: we wanted to get married here. Together with our wedding planner and service providers (who, by the way, were also very enthusiastic about the great collaboration) we were able to organize a dream wedding with Ziethen Castle. Every request was met without any problem and all of our ideas were implemented. The rehearsal dinner was a dream! When we were there for the first time, we already suspected that the food would be good, but the rehearsal dinner was simply a poem! We have rarely eaten so well and on our wedding day there was an outstanding buffet that was praised by all the guests. The rooms have an elegant style and are very comfortable. We had the bridal suite and slept wonderfully there and had a great view of the park. The breakfast buffet was also very good.We were there the day before with some friends and had a buffet there and that was a wonderful evening. The staff provided outstanding service and listened to our every need. It was an unforgettable evening. Even on the wedding day, everyone - without exception - was simply magical! Starting with the lord of the castle, who welcomed me as a bride on the stairs and congratulated me, to the outstanding staff (who even stood in line for a moment and applauded as I walked past - so cute! I immediately had tears in my eyes...) , which ensured everything ran smoothly. Everything went just perfectly, there was nothing to complain about at all! The guests were simply absolutely thrilled!The party then took place in the neighboring house in the Rosenhaus and the bar staff there were also outstanding. The drinks were almost too good, so the atmosphere was very relaxed.The process afterwards was also problem-free, everything was as agreed. There were no hidden costs. I was even allowed to leave some of the decorations there for three days and pick them up later. The entire planning, organization, execution and subsequent handling of the wedding went absolutely perfectly, professionally and smoothly from day 1.We would like to thank the entire team at the Hotel & Restaurant Schloss Ziethen from the bottom of our hearts for this phenomenal and unforgettable wedding celebration. Our guests are still talking about this unforgettable celebration - without you, this would not have been possible! Thank you so much for making this possible for us so easily!P.S. We'll be back! This way, your kitchen will be outstanding!

Very romantic and beautiful, food was great

Very cozy castle hotel and very beautiful park.Furnished with attention to detail.1a food: quality of ingredients excellent, taste too.Very suitable for family celebrations such as weddings and birthdays. There are also seminar rooms for corporate events.Not far from Berlin and ideal for a short or long break with high recreational value in the middle of nature.

Great location, delicious cuisine and friendly staff

A special location that I got to know as an ideal conference hotel: historic rooms, comprehensive facilities, excellent meals, and attentive staff.A special thank you to Mr. von Thüngen for his kindness!

All in all a successful hotel, also for celebrations. The extension doesn't quite match the style of the castle, but is in good condition.
