This is a great and clean family hotel.The children could be loud and play around, which no neighbors bothered.In addition, the facilities are simply fantastic with a small library, table football, billiards, table football and much more.Personally, the mattresses were too hard for me, but that's a personal feeling.The only point is the WiFi in the hotel, which is great in places, but weak or even non-existent in the rooms.Unfortunately, the reception was only partially occupied, but basically you could still arrange things well.

We had a very nice vacation here this summer. Thanks to the child care offered, we as parents were able to relax and unwind for a few hours. The food was good but sometimes you had to be there very early because there wasn't everything left at the back.

Beautiful room, bathroom, bed and balcony a dream.The food was good, the sausage and cheese were regional and tasty.The employees are all nice and enjoy their work, which makes vacation fun.The fact that the sauna costs a one-time fee of 20 euros is something that a woman can cope with. But you have the sauna all to yourself for 2 hours, the shower is huge and everything is new and not musty!Wonderful vacation in the unique Black Forest!At night you can see the stars in the sky, the electrosmog is far away here!

Place to relax in a great location with a view of Feldberg and Titisee.Very friendly and helpful staff.Even in constant rain you can endure it here.Catering above JH level. Irritatingly, the desserts have been smelling like rubber for the past year.Especially with regard to I think the price of the food is a bit too high.

This is a church educational institution, you have to imagine it as a well-run youth hostel, not quite up to date, four folding beds in a room, you can do that, but you don't have to go to the conference and teaching facilities are completely okay in the area in the middle of the Black Forest at Schluchsee Of course it has its charm

Very nice, well-kept accommodation. Rooms are new and modern and you have a beautiful view from the large balcony. The food is good and plentiful. Breakfast is okay for a family leisure hotel (don't expect scrambled eggs, fried eggs and Nuremberg sausages, but the quality is good). It's a shame that you have to pay extra for the sauna, I don't know that from other hotels. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Accommodation 3.5 stars / Food 3.5 stars / Location 3.0 stars / Staff 4.5 stars = Overall 3.6 rounded up 4 stars - Bottom line, absolutely recommended.

Great location and view. Nice, helpful landlord. Lots of excursion options on site, especially if you are mobile. Rooms were actually hardly cleaned at all (shortage of staff), but fresh towels and bed linen etc. were brought to the room upon request. The on-site childcare is also great, we used it a few times.The food can really be improved, the salads actually taste very sour, but you can create great dressings in just a few minutes that require little vinegar and taste great. In general, the amount of food, whether at breakfast or dinner, was calculated very tightly, rather too little than enough. Hardly anything was refilled after 9 a.m., although you can have breakfast until 9:45. You will also be severely “admonished” if you don’t arrive until around 9:10. We actually found the staff in the restaurant to be annoyed, stressed and unfriendly. The support and management team, as well as the few cleaning fairies, are really nice and make an effort. Not everyone likes the coffee from the machine, but we thought the range of chilled drinks and snacks (cost extra) was great. We would come again because of the location and the beautiful complex, but would no longer book “full board”. Oh, completely forgot. The chapel next door is very nice if you want to retreat for a moment and enjoy some peace and quiet or think a bit.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 days in December. Overall it was a very nice vacation. Large, modern and clean rooms. Food was very good, only once there wasn't enough baked mushrooms, so we had to eat cold because we only had a salad as a starter. Friendly staff, good child care. Unfortunately the room was very noisy. We were able to follow our roommate's bedtime story word for word. Still, overall a very nice vacation.

The four of us were there for 5 days and went home with generally positive impressions.The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were friendly and bright and clean. Unfortunately, the WiFi is underground, but that's the case across the board in the Black Forest. The entire house is designed to be very friendly and inviting.Unfortunately, eating was always a struggle because everyone rushed to the buffet like they were starving and sometimes the parents didn't keep an eye on their kids.Leisure activities are also offered and there is a sauna.We would come again. The view was a dream.

My son and I were able to enjoy a week of Corona break in this house. All the employees were friendly, nice and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure everyone had a great stay. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about some “fellow vacationers”. So many naughty children in one place - I've never experienced that before. Well, I don't think the children can actually do anything about it, it's the parents who have failed across the board. What went on in the dining room in the morning when the crossaints and in the evening when the dessert was put on the buffet was worthy of a film. The fact that the croissants weren't snatched out of the hands of the employees, who really tried hard to ensure that everyone got something, was like a miracle. Crossaints and dessert were hoarded like toilet paper in the early days of Corona. Really abnormal - and partly encouraged by the parents. Even the employees just shook their heads and said that it had never been as bad as this week. And then this stomping everywhere. At 2 a.m. one thought there would be a horde of elephants running through the rooms above us or furniture being moved. I can't understand what the previous writer said either. We played pool every evening and the table isn't the worst I've played on. It may be that the table tennis ball was broken, but that doesn't surprise me given this wild bunch. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, the food on offer, the friendly staff and the management.

The best thing is the location and the men and women can't help it!From Friday to Sunday afternoon on site as part of a family weekend.A promised and “ordered” projector was not there. The WiFi was disastrously slow and bad. (WhatsApp messages could not be sent via this)The food was simple, but ok. Barracks level.On Sunday morning we had to have a hectic breakfast, and there was a lot of friction among the other “guests” over what little there was left. The reason for the hectic expulsion from the “dining room” was not found out.The play facilities for children were broken and hardly usable. The pool table soon fell apart and table tennis was not possible because the rackets were completely worn out and the ball was broken. There was no other.I hope I never have to go there again.

Pros:Wonderful location in the Black Forest,friendly staff,Lift service to the train station for people without vehiclesCons: Continued to insist on wearing an FFP2 mask even though state laws no longer require it, as if people who literally live under the same roof and constantly breathe the same air would somehow be protected by wearing a mask while from point A go to point B,There are not enough activities offered for small children - child care only runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on weekdays for children aged 3 to 10, the doors are locked the rest of the time. This leaves only a tiny corner with some Lego near a dangerous staircase, making it very boring for small children. The playrooms should be unlocked or at least accessible to parents and their children all day long,Coffee in the Stüble (chargeable) tastes awful,Unclear availability of staff outside office hours in emergencies,A map of the facility that clearly shows how to find the different activities and rooms would be nice

Food was often limited in quantity. Salads that were too sour, although vinegar was always there for self-service, the cook thought he knew better what little children liked... The rooms weren't even cleaned, we were there for a week. Otherwise we had a lot of fun there!
