Restaurant:Up until 2 hours ago I would have given it 4 or 5 stars.Nice inn, quite good, if not overly cheap lunch, actually nice and quick service.I was looking forward to that today too.When I asked if there was still a place for me, I heard 'Now they're trying again'Surprised, I ask, what?'Getting a place without a reservation... couldn't even change because I have to help out and no one reserves... no staff...'I asked if I should go back, but man(!) didn't want that either.Zack, anticipation gone and feel-good factor -1If you advertise your lunch menu with a sign on the street, you shouldn't be surprised that guests end up here unannounced.Conclusion: I'm too adjusted and should have left straight away. But I was here for the last time.I would certainly have enjoyed the food better with a friendlier greeting.Schnitzel with cream sauce and a small salad (no photo) €17.50small cola €2.70Tip €1.80...otherwise I'm more generousSchnitzel convenience was good, packet cream sauce was disappointing, fries good, salad good.I upset.

...go for a short hike and have a good meal.Leave the car (or whatever) in Michelbach and walk slightly uphill over the Erlenborn and keep to the right in the field. From there, continue slightly uphill and then right again onto the “Weinbergsweg”. This takes you first over the vineyard slopes and then through the forest to the Dörsthof inn.There you can relax and get your fill in the beautiful garden or in a guest room. Then cross the federal road and along the Kahl back to Michelbach.Others have already written that the cuisine is good and plentiful. But there are only a few that deserve to be highlighted by the view and the landscape.

We are thrilled every time!The food is super delicious 😋.Hard to get a better rump steak.The service was friendly and courteous.The ambience inside is rustic and inviting.The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped with play options for the children and a picturesque atmosphere in summer.Thank you for your efforts!

Great garden for families with a playground. Very good food. Staff and owner extremely nice and child-friendly! Rooms all new. With donkeys, rabbits, goats and a friendly Newfoundland dog.

On March 21, 2024, while we were driving through, we spontaneously came up with the idea of stopping here and having dinner.From the menu presented to us, we decided on a pepper cream schnitzel and two cooked cheese schnitzels (€18.00 each), as well as an onion schnitzel to take away.The friendly waitress told us that all variations were also offered as half portions. I ordered half a portion, but also without fries. After paying with a card I noticed that I was only deducted €2.50, which is correct for half the portion. That still left €15.50 for a mini schnitzel with salad. Because I didn't have any fries.I asked the waitress whether she had made a mistake! (Because of the fries!)At first she wanted to ask again in the kitchen, which she didn't do, but instead gave me the answer:"I wouldn't have given a tip either"!(I have to say that this time I forgot to tip when paying by card. Which was not a bad intention).However, this remark alone could not be surpassed in terms of audacity.We will no longer be able to recommend this once great excursion restaurant and will no longer visit it ourselves.There was nothing wrong with the food.

I've eaten a lot of rump steaks, but this is the best I've ever been served. Fried to medium rare (so tender) and the fried onions are a dream, not everyone can manage that.Service very friendly and attentive, price performance absolutely harmonious, ambience fits the overall concept.

It was only one night, but we could easily imagine a vacation there, quiet location, nice rooms and courteous service, everything was perfect! Thanks
