Since it is a guesthouse and not a hotel with a reception, you will be greeted and instructed via the door intercom.There is no elevator in the house.Single rooms are small with narrow, short beds. No fridge and only one socket.The bathroom has no heating.For breakfast there are two types of baked rolls, but unfortunately they were very sticky.Filter coffee is available from the thermos flask. There is no fully automatic machine that can prepare cappucino or latte for breakfast.The rooms are cleaned during breakfast time.It often happens that guesthouse guests have to wait in front of their rooms after breakfast. Poorly thought out by the staff.Breakfast only from 8 a.m.

Great location close to the center, large guesthouse with a few rooms. Stay "hallway" with fully automatic coffee machine, kettle, tea refrigerator with cold drinks 👌The rooms are simple and clean, large breakfast room, breakfast okay, overall a good price/performance ratio.To recommend

Great guesthouse.House like in Bavaria.Room ok Breakfast good.If you want to take the steam locomotive up the Brocken, this is the right place for you.Pension is highly recommended!!!Parking space at the house!

A very nice house with an interesting history, in a quiet location and just a few minutes' walk from the center. We received a very nice and friendly welcome, and the entire team is also super nice and very attentive. The breakfast was okay, we didn't miss anything. We felt absolutely comfortable and would love to come back. Thanks to the entire team for this lovely stay in your beautiful house.

Dear Ms. Gellert-Günnel,We were guests in her house with 6 people plus a small dog.I would also like to thank you on behalf of my friends for their friendly, courteous, helpful hospitality.The breakfast is more than sufficient and the drinks prices are fair.In other words, should we come to Wernigerode again, your house will be the first choice of the six of us.

Very nice guesthouse. My single room is comfortably furnished and extremely clean, the bed has a great mattress, the window can be left open at night and no noise disturbs my night's sleep. The highlight of this guesthouse is the balcony, which all guests can use, with a view of the garden and wonderful peace. You can end the day well here. Worth mentioning is the drinks area for guests in the entrance area (refrigerator with a large selection of cold drinks) as well as a coffee machine with excellent coffee options and also cocoa. You enter your consumption (very moderate prices) on a list and it is billed on the day of departure. The day begins with a rich breakfast (buffet) and the wonderfully refreshing and very friendly owner, who inquires about the guests' well-being in the morning. Thank you, I liked it so much that I'm already planning for next year. All the employees are open-minded and very friendly. Overall, the guesthouse exudes a positive, good atmosphere, so that I felt very comfortable at all times and would like to come back.

We stayed at the guesthouse with a couple we were friends with. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and so was the double bed room. Beds very good, breakfast: rich selection, cozy, quiet atmosphere. The old town can be reached on foot in a short time. We felt very comfortable and would happily recommend the guesthouse.

Great location to explore Wernigerode and the surrounding area. The ladies are super friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and the buffet in the morning is tasty. The rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but it's enough. The best thing is the inexpensive minibar, which you can help yourself to at any time. You can also arrive at other times as you can collect the room key from an outside safe.

Very good price-performance ratio! Parking space! The house has flair and atmosphere! Large rooms with balconies! Great bed! Clean ! Toilet/bathroom a bit small and without heating, breakfast delicious! Very friendly staff and hosts! Central, quiet location! We were there for Walpurgis Night 2023! Keep it up!! We'll be back! Just a hotel. The welcome from the hostess was very warm. The only downside was the rude hausmeister. According to him, the car was not parked properly and started barking at me in 1930s/40s style. Never before in friendly Germany. The town is medieval but somewhat run-down. Unfortunately, this happens more often in the former GDR. Good for once, but never again.

We felt very comfortable. Other mattresses would be nice (too hard for me). Super nice staff, delicious breakfast. The location of the guesthouse is great and the car is well parked on the property. There is a large terrace and a garden that you can use. In the entrance area there is the opportunity to treat yourself to a drink after the hike. There is something for everyone. Gladly again 👍👍👍

I stayed here for one night in March 2023. The room was quiet but small. The bed had no headboard, so it was difficult for me to read in bed. Breakfast is actually only available from 8:00 a.m. - at 7:59 a.m. the breakfast room was still locked. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied.
