Addendum to the owner's answer from September 16, 2021:Ms. F., as can be seen from your answers from other reviews, you are by no means capable of criticism. An answer like this was absolutely foreseeable for me!As already mentioned in my first email, I reserved with you well in advance, on July 9th, 2021 to be precise. All relevant data was available and the reservation was binding on both sides, just like an á la carte cake offer - which type of cake didn't matter to me, as I'm telling you at the moment. d. tel. Reservation communicated - the main thing is that there is enough available. (Perhaps you should google the term á la carte to avoid making a fool of yourself in the future). There was never any mention of “additional options”! I just wanted to be provided with a table and set and decorate it myself. It should be clear to you above all that this does not happen weeks in advance. At the time of reservation, you still had enough space for our celebration, as you had told me. It was no problem for you to give me the option of both options (indoor and outdoor) - you assured me that I would be able to contact you at short notice if the weather trend was predictable and then let you know exactly where we would like to sit. At this point I would like to point out that an oral agreement is just as binding as a written contract. (If our agreements had led to problems in the meantime, due to other inquiries or similar, you would have been happy to contact me at any time using the callback number I provided). I have verifiably called you twice and spoke to you personally both times. 1st phone call on July 9th, 2021 for the reservation. 2nd phone call on September 2nd, 21 to arrange the time regarding table decorations (that didn't happen because you were and are still convinced that I would have canceled with you - my phone call on September 2nd, 21 would therefore have been completely pointless! I assume that you or one of your employees accidentally made a mistake when making a reservation/cancellation. This is not about assigning blame, but rather about straightening things out - your behavior, unfortunately, just shows a lack of character...). In contrast to our first phone call, you did not introduce yourself with your full name. No other phone calls were ever made between your company and me! It is strange that you are now writing that I supposedly canceled because the weather was too uncertain for me - in our phone call on September 2nd, 2021 you accused me of canceling because I had supposedly found another location. If you're not being completely honest, it's better to remember your excuses so that you don't seem obviously unbelievable later. Furthermore, my criticism is constructive and by no means unobjective - I did not speak condescendingly about you, but rather confronted you with facts. That's exactly how it happened, there's no sugarcoating it - no matter how you want to turn the situation. Since you apparently and obviously have insufficient skills in gastronomy and event management, I consider any instruction from you to be simply inappropriate and reject it! Sentences and comments like your last two should be left alone based on your previous correspondence.Conclusion: Competence in dealing with the guest, organization & planning, flexibility & problem-solving skills... none of it exists.

Excellent. They still exist, friendly, honest and warm hosts/hoteliers. The apartment and grounds are beautiful and large. Breakfast left nothing to be desired, even for the children. Many thanks from the family. We would come here again at any time.

A guesthouse in the Harz that is run with heart! Here the guest is seen and you feel welcome from the first second.

Absolutely charming and lovingly decorated guesthouse in an absolutely quiet location. Here you can really relax and gain new strength. Everything was just right here. The pension owners are the most wonderful and kind people we have had the pleasure of meeting. If there is still a room available next year we will definitely come back.🥰

We had chosen the guesthouse for a meeting between siblings, it was a very good choice! The warm welcoming culture of the "boss" and her family as well as the wonderfully prepared breakfast have already been reported many times here. We had, among other things, the rooms Schrotgang 1 and Mahlgang 2, both of which are next to each other with their spacious terrace, so we could optimally enjoy the comfortable furniture and the evening sun. In the evening we had planned a barbecue evening, for which the grill was prepared and made available to us, we were also able to use the cozy seating area under the roof, we got dishes from the kitchen and all kinds of glasses are available in the bar (by the way, by the cash register). Also beer, non-alcoholic drinks and wines). The fact that we were made aware of the night's silence shortly after 10 p.m. was a bit irritating at first, but also understandable.With the guest card you can, among other things, use the bus free of charge, which stops approx. 300 m away. We drove to Blankenburg and started the Teufelsmauer ridge path: challenging hike - great experience.All in all, we can only recommend the Goldbachmühle. We wish you all the best 😀

We stayed in this beautiful and hospitable house with our grandson from July 7th to July 12th, 2024. We would like to give it more than 5 stars. The warmth of the hosts and the beautiful grounds in the beautiful area are unique. We particularly liked the excellent and rich breakfast with home-baked rolls and jam.
