We visited this café on a nice trip.Located at almost 1000 meters above sea level, there is a fantastic view. There is an outdoor area with wooden tables and benches. However, since the temperature was a bit cool, we sat down in the dining room.I ordered my favorite dish, Kaiserschmarrn, while my wife treated herself to a cream cake. Plus coffee and water.I was a little disappointed with the Kaiserschmarrn, it had little taste and was a bit boring - I've had better ones. The cream cake, on the other hand, was excellent and the coffee was very good. The waiter was engaging and friendly. The restaurant itself is clearly outdated in terms of furnishings and overall seems a bit old-fashioned.Even the paintings carelessly nailed to the wall can't do much.

We were guests at the almcafe schnackenhöhe from October 19, 2024 to October 26, 2024, it was very nice, the room was great, the view was a dream and the hosts were very, very nice. The location is very central, you can reach Obersdorf, Füssen, Tannheimertal, Sonthofen etc. can all be reached within 30 minutes. I can only recommend it.

We got out late at night in the dark and received a warm welcome. This made the magnificent view in the best weather the next morning even more of a great experience. The room was great and the bedding was particularly soft. 😄But as many have already written: breakfast was the absolute highlight! Prepared with love and a wide selection. It was a great experience and we can highly recommend the Almcafé.And before you leave, it's definitely worth taking a detour to the panoramic lounger!

We were just looking for somewhere to stay overnight on the way to South Tyrol and found a little gem! 3 lovingly rustically furnished guest rooms with balconies and fantastic views. The location is great, rural and quiet. Perfect for us with dogs, there are wide meadows right in front of the door for people and dogs to run around. The food was very tasty and the breakfast was also rich. The owners are very nice and personable. If we are in the area again we would try to stay here again.

The location and view is really great.Nice outside area, inside it looks more like an ice cream parlor, but that's completely okay. The service both outside and at the cake counter were extremely unfriendly and seemed listless and annoyed. The door to the kitchen was also constantly slammed. We ate a piece of Black Forest cherry and a piece of raspberry cream. In the Black Forest cake there was pink gelatin goo and 3 pieces of cherry, no kirsch and far too much dough for my taste. The creamy part of the raspberry cream cake was also really tough. It may be that the cakes and tarts are homemade: there is another way to make them delicious. Of course that's a matter of taste. It's a shame, it was very disappointing for us.
