We celebrated our wedding in October 2024 at Warberg Castle. The ambience is just beautiful. We were married in the castle hall with a reception afterwards. The whole celebration took place in 3 different locations, which always provided a bit of variety. Our guests also enjoyed the castle tour. The food was delicious, the entire staff was very friendly and our wedding room was simply brilliant. Many thanks to Ms. Weigelt, who organized everything so well with her team. Our guests and we felt completely comfortable and it was a perfect dream wedding for us.

A beautiful castle for family celebrations, weddings, seminars or just as a holiday destination. We had had a wedding. The food was very well prepared and very tasty. It is highly recommended...

I can't write anything about the rooms because I was there with the Bovelzumft and stored on the outside area. I found the food very tasty and the service was very friendly and flexible. I found the outdoor area and the surrounding area really beautiful. It was a great weekend 👍

I actually never write reviews, as you can see from my profile, but after this weekend I have to.We were at Warberg Castle with our medieval club all weekend with more than 100 people (140? estimated number). Most of them were rented in the hotel while a small number camped on the site.Friday:We had a buffet for Friday. It was accessible from one side in a hallway where over a hundred people had to go up and down through the hall door even though there were actually other entrances. If you managed to fill your plate but were still hungry, you had to wait in an even longer, stationary queue because the pasta (the only side dish at the buffet) suddenly ran out and was cooked in a panic. When I finally made it to the buffet again, the cooked pasta was gone and replaced with cold fries. The remaining bowls were already so shiny that they almost didn't need to be washed anymore.Your own drinks were only allowed to be consumed in your room and in the camp, which of course I understand. However, now the following happened:I briefly went into the hall from the camp with two closed beer bottles in my hand to tell my friends that I was going to the room.On the way out a man (I think it was the hotel owner) stopped me and said:"You do know that they are taking away our livelihood?"I was truly amazed to hear this in the middle of over a hundred people chewing because I had two unopened beer bottles in my hand. My response was an overwhelmed “uh.. ok” and I wanted to move on. But now he still stopped me and said:"I hereby warn you and if I catch you again I will expel you from the premises!"Once again, I looked at him in amazement without saying anything, as such a statement is certainly easy for an owner when his 'guests' had to pay in advance for the entire weekend. Since I was aware that there was no need for discussion here, I replied with "Ok, I'll say nothing" and was then finally able to leave the hall and go to the room, which is why I didn't leave again that day.Saturday:That day I was almost exclusively in my room because, as a criminal with a criminal record, I didn't feel like walking 200km home if I were to attract attention again. In the evening at the knight's dinner, the employees learned from the Friday bankruptcy and opened a second entrance to the hall and even opened a second buffet.Unfortunately, they forgot to get twice as much food when paying the bill, which is why after everyone had eaten a plate, the second buffet was closed again because there was nothing left. The leftovers were then cleaned up in the hallway buffet like on Friday. We spent the evening in the camp that had been set up because we were protected there from the draconian punishments.Sunday:On Sunday afternoon, some of the meals they had booked canceled because they had been served from the previous days and then left quite early. That was a real shame, but at least it meant that there was enough food for the first time all weekend. For the sake of fairness, I would also like to mention that breakfast was fine all 3 days. Conclusion:The location is really nice and, in addition to the delicious food (whoever you get), it's also the only reason why I give it 2 stars. As a couple or as a family, you can take a look at Warberg Castle. As a large group, go there once, look at the beautiful location and then quickly look for something else.As a boss/owner/HR manager or whatever in the castle, you think about whether your job is right for you and whether your existence was really at risk for the weekend after the 5-figure amount that our club had to leave with you. Finally, I hereby give myself the second warning and assure myself that I will never enter the area again.

A really beautiful castle with a huge BUT....We spent a weekend at Warberg Castle as part of our club anniversary. Unfortunately, many things didn't go as expected.Mostly chaotic and disorganized service, sometimes very unfriendly (especially the lady at the breakfast buffet). The food was overall OK, but the kitchen couldn't keep up with the buffet on Friday, so at some point even the food we ordered (geschnetzeltes and spaetzle) was completely gone, even though some guests were only at the buffet once.On Saturday, refilling at the buffet didn't work out any better, and half of the warming tables were always completely empty and when something was refilled, the food was at most lukewarm. The price-performance ratio was not right here in any way!Our hotel room with a double bed didn't blow us away either; it was quite small, but at least it had a fairly large and modern bathroom. On the whole we were quite disappointed, so only well-intentioned 3 stars with a clear tendency towards two stars.

We got married here a few days ago. In advance, the preparation via the registry office in Süpplingen was very simple and uncomplicated. The wedding itself was carried out by Ms. Ruprecht professionally and appropriately given the circumstances, coupled with a wink and a bit of humor. In any case, we and our guests really enjoyed it. The location is great and the subsequent champagne reception by the local restaurant also went perfectly. Clear recommendation and personal thanks to Ms. Ruprecht!

We celebrated our wedding here. The conversations we had with Ms. Weigelt (our contact person) beforehand would never have led us to suspect that things could go so wrong. Apart from a fantastic location, nothing is beautiful here.We were married outside in the rain even though it had been discussed that we should then be married in the cross vault. But this was not possible because the coffee table was set up here. The wedding cake was carelessly pushed into a corner while we weren't in the room but the best part was the staff. We were supposed to bring in our decorations the day before, the staff would do everything else. Well, probably not when we brought the decorations, we were greeted with the fact that they don't have any staff that can take care of it. On our wedding day, the staff insulted each other, bitched at our guests and cleared the tables and set them up for breakfast the next day even though there were still guests sitting there, who then left the celebration early (2 hours before the room rental period expired) because they thought that it's over now and they feel like they've been thrown out. Guests on the dance floor were pushed aside because the breakfast buffet had to be prepared. Some of the rooms have terrible stairs to get to bed. When the invoice came and we asked for feedback, we outlined what we thought. A conversation was offered, but then canceled by email on the agreed day 3 hours before the appointment (illness and a new appointment should be arranged after recovery). After that, we didn't hear from each other for 8 weeks and now a reminder came even though it was said that we would pay for the conversation the invoice total. We have now paid the sum and then also paid for services that did not take place, such as decorating. Of course there was no more sound from the castle. But that was a lesson for us and our 70 guests. None of those involved will recommend this location anymore. We would have expected more for a five-figure bill. We thought we were in good hands here and we were completely dazzled by the ambience. It's a shame because the outside view and the parks are beautiful, but the staff is completely overwhelmed and not professionally qualified.

The hotel is great, with a great atmosphere, beautiful courtyard, fantastic terraces. If you get one of the rooms that have already been renovated, the rooms are very nice. The breakfast is lavish and leaves nothing to be desired; in addition to cereal, rolls, eggs and sausages, there was fresh fruit salad and fish.
