We weren't there to spend the night. We ate. And that was a great venison goulash with bread dumplings and a fantastic sauce. If we are in the area again we will definitely eat there again.

Were at the Pfefferle parking space in Geisenried and went to Gasthof Stocker on a recommendation. Lunch was very good and we will stop there again.

Friendly service, very good food and good room:The Gasthof Stocker was the destination for the day on my St. James pilgrimage. I was very impressed by how committed and friendly the landlady looked after me and other guests. Drinks, food and breakfast were what I expect from a country inn: down-to-earth, very tasty and plentiful. The room with shower/toilet was very clean and functionally furnished.Unfortunately, on my way I saw some inns that had permanently closed. In times when it is very difficult in many industries to find people who accept uncomfortable working hours and put their own needs aside in order to be there for guests, I appreciate it even more that there are such “old school” innkeepers like the Stockers exist. I can definitely recommend the Gasthof Stocker. I would be happy to come and/or stay there again at the next opportunity.

I was on the Way of St. James and luckily got a very nice room in the Gasthof Stocker for the night - on the same day - even with a balcony and a view of the church opposite.Hosts Stocker are excellent hosts and the quality of the food, combined with price-performance, is simply outstanding!If you like game, I can only recommend it, the sauce for the roast venison is a poem!The rooms are super cheap, I was surprised that breakfast was included in the price. I slept very well.The breakfast itself, varied, rich and great products were available to choose from.I felt very comfortable at the Gasthof Stocker and would have preferred to stay.But the Way of St. James wanted to be completed and so I set off after a warm farewell from the Stockers hosts.(Yes, the bell ringing is there, but it didn't bother me at all, I always have Oropax with me, just in case)I would like to thank you very much and hope to see you soon!
