I was on a bike tour with friends/family, the room was a bit old but clean, the shower and bathroom could be renovated, bicycles could be stored in them, a bit difficult for older people, but it is supported, the employees were super nice,

A clean, functional, well-equipped hotel with friendly and helpful staff. You felt welcome.Breakfast was good, a clear selection that was always freshly replenished.The room was large, clean and had enough storage space. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom spacious and clean. Small flaw in the packaged hand soap and shower gel in disposable sachets. This is more environmentally conscious.Within walking distance of the train station in the middle of the city surrounded by shopping and dining options, the hotel is conveniently located and it was still quiet in the room.

Actually quite reasonable rooms, but after they sent me an invoice twice without comment, they kindly hesitated the third time to write on it that it was supposed to be a "reminder". Of course this is the “third reminder”. Even though I paid with a card that evening, great "reminder", great bill, never thank you again.EDIT: After I sent an email with proof of payment, there was of course no response or even an apology... Speaks volumes

Simple hotel in the old town of Meppen. Check-in went smoothly, the rooms are already showing their age. The bathroom was OK, but also showing quite a bit of wear and tear.The location is very good and you can quickly get to the pedestrian zone. A large Kaufland can be reached in 2 minutes.The breakfast is very manageable. Bicycle storage is available.

The mattress felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Totally worn out. You could hear every conversation in the next room. The shower was boiling hot and ice cold every 3 seconds. The furniture was super old.

I was here for the third time. On Christmas Day. This house is in the city center. It can't be better. There are also parking spaces in the area. What I particularly like is the welcoming culture here. Although this hotel operates with minimal staff, I always had the impression that they were doing everything possible for me as a guest. Prices also very ok. Last year I was in Emsland with a business partner and we couldn't be there on time. This smaller hotel does not have a night porter. We were accommodated to such an extent that the gentleman who probably runs this hotel came to the hotel especially for us at the agreed time to check us in. Last Christmas I was here for €60.00 including breakfast. Great value for money. It won't be my last stay here. Paul

Hotel for one night, nice room, cleanliness ok, TV ok, net ok, once you get a card with a code. We arrived around 8 p.m. There was no one at the reception, you couldn't send the keybox code by text message all day long, you had to call and stand in the rain. In the morning at breakfast, we had the impression that they were watching us, I don't know, so as not to eat too much🤨? They were probably waiting for us when we left so that we wouldn't run away without paying for the room, which was an embarrassment to me. As for parking, it is not an option, there is a paid city parking lot nearby. I do not recommend this place, and I will not return to this place.

The hotel is a bit older, but centrally located in Meppen. There is free parking and spacious rooms. However, these are in need of renovation and some of them date from the 80s. I would like to positively emphasize the friendliness at reception and the cleanliness of the entire house. Unfortunately, both mattresses in the room were sagging. The breakfast buffet is minimalist. However, the overall price-performance ratio in this hotel is right.
