Update: Improved sanitary facilities very clean, multiple cleanings every day, soap, paper towels and toilet paper available. The entrance to the square looks much more inviting.The place is idyllically located on a lake. The peace and quiet was very relaxing.The owner took it over last year and is in the process of averting one or two shortcomings.Dogs are allowed and there is also a nice little playground. Currently a large proportion of long-term campers.3 wash stations, including washing up stations attached. We got the warm water from the washhouse. Washing machine and dryer can be found at the registration desk. Showers for 50 cents. Unfortunately there is no soap, hand disinfectant, towels or toilet paper available. Cleaning was done once a day.WiFi is chargeable.There are several stations for dog waste bags, unfortunately the bag dispenser was always empty.Otherwise the place is clean.In the registration area there is a coffee, kiosk with an outdoor terrace where you can also order bread rolls. Unfortunately they have a lunch break there, so no meal could be had.Last weekend there was a buffet in the evening and in the morning.Shops 3.8 and 5.1 km away are easy to reach by bike.The owner is nice and tries to make this place attractive for vacationers.

We were only here for a weekend. Thank God only the weekend.The lake is beautiful and the area is nice and quiet, but some things just don't work at all.Showers cost 50 cents per unit for hot water. Toilet paper was never to be found in the toilets. In the evening in the dark you have to go to the toilet with a flashlight because no light works.The spot we chose was in the dog area by the lake. Beautiful views, but unfortunately no light there at night.The sockets are not CEE, as we know them on campsites. They provide a box that you have to connect to the red plugs. You can only plug a Schuko plug into this box and not a CEE plug. The landlord kindly provided me with an adapter.I can't say anything about the restaurant because we are self-catering.I rate the service with only one star because of the situation with the light in the toilets and the parking space. And because of the lack of toilet paper rolls in the entire place.In summer the lake is definitely an attraction. Table football, table football, playground, beach volleyball, soccer goal, digging opportunities at the stand, stand up paddle, everything is there. We only missed the pedal boats from the website.We probably won't come back.

Stayed there for 5 nights last week. Our parking space because we had a dog with us was right by the lake. Really great view. A visit to the outdated sanitary facilities is unreasonable 🫣. I could also add pictures, I don't want to at this point! Thanks to two very nice long-term campers (they both know that they are meant). The two of them made sure that the sanitary facilities were clean at least the next day. The prices for overnight stays would be appropriate if everything was in top condition. I heard that a new operator (permanent camper) 👍 is supposed to take over the campsite. Great. We said we would come back next year. 👋

Swimming lake with adjacent campsite.Bathing lake costs €3 per person for day guests.Small separate children's area, extra area for dogs at the lake.Sun loungers with awnings (if intact and available).Small kiosk in the registration area.

We were on the tent meadow next to the café.Sanitary facilities for us were directly on the other side of the building. Overall it's clean, but not in the corners (e.g. unnecessarily many cobwebs). There you can particularly see the ravages of time, e.g. Some of the ceiling panels were either badly discolored or simply missing.You had to pay €0.50 for hot water for showering.With a little love and color you could quickly create a better picture of the facility.Dogs are welcome on the site and even have their own section of beach.There isn't much around that gives you peace and quiet.All in all, the place is okay for the price, especially with the lake, but not for us.

Unfriendly reception, not feeling welcome. Parking space not even on the square but in front of the barrier in the parking lot that is actually for visitors, you have to pay extra for everything.

Pleasant owner, clean sanitary facilities, nice spot on the water and a reasonable price. Later we'll have something to eat with a nice cold beer. Would definitely recommend this campsite!!

If you are looking for a beautiful campsite... nature... great swimming lake... great service... with heart... CUTE GASTRONOMY AT CIVIL PRICES... SO CLEARLY SAYING... THEN YOU'RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE... ME I BOUGHT A MOBILE HOME HERE....ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO..I COME FROM NRW...BUT THIS WARMTH..AND PEACE...SIMPLY GREAT..I'M RETIRED NOW..WITH SMALL DOGS...THERE IS A DOG SYRAND AND VERY BEAUTIFUL TERRAIN FOR WALKING... OF COURSE THERE IS A LOT OF CYCLING HERE TOO... HOLLAND IS VERY CLOSE... THAT MEANS GREAT DESTINATIONS WITH DELICIOUS CUISINE FROM EMSLAND AND THE NETHERLANDS... SO IF YOU'RE ENTHUSIASTIC SAY IT...I'M EXCITED...AND GETTING OLD HERE..PLEASE THAT'S AN HONEST STATEMENT..SO IT'S WORTH IT FOR ALL...DAY GUESTS WITH A CARAVAN OR MOTORHOME...for long-term campers with a caravan or mobile home...and Nothing is being restructured here either. Read again what new reviews there are for this place. Nothing has changed. I can only fully agree with the last two reviews from Mr. Patrzek and Sundag.We have also experienced it first hand if you, as a long-term or seasonal camper, don't do what the old long-term camper groups want, you will quickly be bullied, the owner will quickly double the prices at the end of the year just because there are other applicants for the long-term places with more 💰💰 💰 or is a thorn in the side of the rich neighbor. Nothing has changed with the sanitary facilities either, the cafe's toilet and the toilet container are called sanitary buildings ????? The large sanitary building, well, often described here. Prices are astronomical for the services. Advertising with adventure or mini golf courses that don't exist... And then the peace and quiet on the so-called event weekends, constant camper drinking until the doctor comes.Looking back, I can only be grateful to the bullies; we also left many months earlier to save ourselves a lot of trouble. This campsite is all about getting as much money out of the pockets of users and tenants and anyone who doesn't take part is out of place,We had a nice place with the old owners until the change. Once upon a time...Furthermore, the operator tries to talk down almost all non-5 star reviews with flimsy blah blah.But things are as they are described there. Never again, not even for just one night.
