We found the hotel very good. The staff is super friendly, even with the little ones. The rooms and the food were also tip top. There is enough space for the kids to play, the supervisors in the kids club are top class and quite funny. We definitely recommend it.

Top location for your family vacation!Top location for families with small children!We spent a wonderful week at the Hotel Bären am See and enjoyed the numerous play options inside and outside. Climbing, swimming, playing, cycling - all great options and there are even all-terrain buggies to rent on site.The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with child locks, diaper pails, bed rails, toilet seats, children's stools, and much more. Cozy and functional rather than modern style - perfect for staying with small children.The food is very tasty and attractively prepared. Fish, meat, vegetarian, baby food is all covered and there was even gluten-free food for our little daughter, which made us particularly happy (the kitchen is familiar with contamination risks and is super attentive! Celiacs can also enjoy it without worry!).The highlight is clearly the friendly and loving people who looked after us warmly, from the reception to the restaurant to the childcare.Five stars from the whole family <3#familyvacation #glutenfree #blackforest

The reception was very friendly and pleasant with a welcome drink, a great first impression👍. Short instructions regarding the bathroom children's department etc. also fit👍. Lift very small and old (over 40 years) with Tüv seal. For 4 stars, well! Rooms appear to have been renovated. First impression is correct. Unfortunately the windows were not renovated and cannot be tilted. Balcony with grubby grass carpet, refrigerator or air conditioning, are you looking for 4 stars in vain? Bathroom renovated brightly OK 4 stars yes👍 Cleanliness 👍 is implemented well. Piggy banks on every floor are unnecessary. If I want to give something, I do it personally or leave something in the room when it is torn down. Pool/wellness area is getting old but functional and clean.Overall, too little invested for 4 stars, it could be better.About the service and staff.Staff 4 stars 👍very friendly and warm. Ms. Koch could learn a lesson from this. The sound makes the music. It's also a shame that there are house guests and hotel guests. Friendly communication seems to be better with house guests. It doesn't work at all 👎 4 stars never. The guest is the king ??? For the price, I would have been happy to ignore the old service and other little things. But with the friendliness towards paying guests. Sorry, an absolute no go. Not even 1 star thanks to the boss

It was a really nice family vacation! We haven't had such a wonderful holiday with children as we did there in a long time! Super nice location and especially the friendliness of the staff there was fantastic. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

A small but nice hotel.The food was world class. There was always something for every taste and enough of everything. The buffet was only slightly filled but constantly replenished. You didn't have to give up anything.The rooms were very generously sized. We have been to many children's hotels and none of them had such a large room for themselves.We had a coffee machine, kettle, bottle warmer, refrigerator, safe and much more.The bathroom, like everything in the hotel, was small but nice. Very well maintained. Completely sufficient.The sauna area is actually a bit old, but everything here is clean and has everything you need.The care for our children was very loving and varied. The children really wanted to go back there every day.What particularly struck us was the cleanliness. We have never been in such a clean hotel. Not even the decoration had any dust. (I don't think that's a bad thing, but nothing there)From the host family and the employees you only got a good mood, friendliness and always a smile.When we left, the children were already asking when we would come back.What more could you want!

A very nice hotel. The hosts were very friendly from the first minute. The rooms are very well maintained and offer enough space. Wellness is also very varied and pleasant. The food was very tasty, at all times. The slightly darker chef who served us was very charismatic and friendly. All highly recommended.A small note on the side: Sauna could open earlier. This is our first time here and it's great. We like it very much. The service and staff are very friendly and very accommodating and very nice. Our children love the bear country especially for children. There they can play, do crafts and have books to read. It also has a bear cave for climbing and letting off steam and a swimming pool with a wellness area.The food and service are also highly recommended. It is an all-inclusive hotel and has something for every taste and the staff caters to your wishes.We would definitely like to come back.
