We were able to celebrate a private wedding at the Lautenbachhof and are overjoyed with everything. We would celebrate there again at any time and can absolutely recommend the beautiful, cozy location, the excellent service and the great organization by Ms. Sarholz. Even with a little rain in May, it was a truly wonderful day at the Lautenbachhof!

First of all:Of course, it depends a lot on what you're looking for (and what you're willing to pay). For me the price/performance is great. Hence full stars.Strictly speaking, the Lautenbachhof consists of several individual houses that are located in a very idyllic location deep in the valley. You have to like and look for it (like me) and then you'll find it here. The only sounds I heard was the bubbling water flowing into a pond. Super.I don't have a single word for the main house, where you check in and eat your meals. It was beautifully combined with old-rustic and new, bright, modern.The people I was in contact with were all extremely warm and had a keen eye for detail. I felt pleasantly cared for. And somehow the cats, which appear in the room from time to time and go their own way unimpressed, fit harmoniously into the picture.There is a small swimming pool etc. in the basement that I saw but didn't try out. Therefore I can't say any details.My room - in the building next door - is decorated in light wood and is simple. Just an inn room. But it's spacious and I felt comfortable there.For those who need it:Mobile network is more a matter of luck. Can also be seen as an advantage :-)However, every house has WiFi.

Great place. Nice and friendly staff. Great location. Great facilities. Great service during the celebration. Everyone is still raving about it. Had free WiFi. Rooms were clean and quiet. A few guests also had their dogs with them.

Went by while hiking and asked for water to refill our bottles. They wanted €7 for half a liter from us. Absolutely nonsense.

Picturesque place, in the middle of the forest, good, tasty food, friendly service, WiFi bandwidth far too low, dead zone, no cell phone reception. Therefore not ideal as a conference hotel.
