The groundskeeper is very friendly and helpful. He is available to help and advise his guests. Really great!!A walk with the dog is very nice from the square. Since there is also a bus station in front of the square, a visit to Heidelberg is very possible. If it takes us back to the area, we would be happy to come back

Very strange campsite, don't go there, what a strange guy who helped us very unfriendly, man with glasses and a hunchback. Barely said anything. And later we got yelled at because we weren't standing properly. …

Good morning. Nice flat place. Great sanitary facilities.Unfortunately, you are not allowed to grill with charcoal. In the evening and during the lunch break you can't get out of the place by car.7km on foot or by bike to the ring. Taxi costs around €30. There is no bus connection to the ring.

We got a place at short notice. The groundskeeper put us all alone on a section of meadow, far away from everyone else. Nothing better could have happened to us. Sanitary facilities new and very clean, restaurant on site, bread service available, completely locked at night. With a transponder you can still get in on foot. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely come back again.

We were there at short notice for 2 nights at the Nitrolympix. With 2 campers, no problem at all and we got a great pitch. The service and cleanliness were excellent. The staff is also very friendly and always helpful. We'd love to come back, best regards and keep it up.

Welcome to Alcatraz! This campsite is unbelievable! We've been to many campsites, but we've never experienced anything like this!Me and my 3 children visited this place for 2 nights as we wanted to watch a football match in Sandhausen, so the location was perfect for us.After checking in, we were assigned a place. When we had the caravan parked, a gentleman came to us and said that the caravan had to have the drawbar facing the street so that we could escape more quickly in the event of a fire.(Ok, rules have to be adhered to, but I haven't been to any camping site yet)We then turned the caravan. When we had everything set up, we turned on the grill, 5 minutes later another gentleman stood there and said grilling with charcoal is forbidden here (OK, rules have to be followed, but you can also overdo it)I then extinguished the hot grill with water.Since we weren't allowed to grill, we wanted to get fries from the snack bar.I ordered 2 portions, one cost just under 5 euros. I thought you could get a few fries for 10 euros.First we had to get our own bowl (the chip bowl from the operator would have cost extra)We then got 2 handfuls of fries for 10 euros!!!I asked the owner if that was really 2 portions, she said 'yes' in a very unfriendly manner and turned away. Such a small portion for 10 euros is a disgrace! My children went to the toilet with the e-scooter and parked it on the bike racks, whereupon they were immediately complained about by the lady that the scooters had to be plugged into the bike racks. When they then wanted to go to the toilet, they were complained about again, that they are not allowed into the sanitary room with the Crocks. When I wanted to go to the toilet in my bathing shoes, I was also warned that I was not allowed to enter the sanitary room with my slippers.I was supposed to put on the flip flops that she had provided and that were already worn by other guests.I said I wouldn't wear the slippers I used. She then said that the shoes had been cleaned and disinfected.I should get clean slippers if I want the sanitary area.(I've never experienced anything like this at a campsite before)From then on we only used our caravan toilet because it was too unpleasant for us to be constantly watched and checked in front of the sanitary building. We had our parking space right next to a dirt road, my son wanted to take a short drive down this path to see where it leads. He arrived 2 minutes later and said the lady at the reception had forbidden him to leave the place.I then confronted her.She said parents have to report it to her if a child leaves the place because she is responsible if something happens to the child.I told her that I am the legal guardian and therefore have the duty of supervision and at the same time am responsible for my children. She then said again that it wasn't like that.If I allow him to leave the place, then he can do it.My son is 12 years old!!!We then went for a walk in the evening. When we came back and opened the gate, two guards immediately stood there and looked at us as if we were extraterrestrials. We felt extremely uncomfortable on this pitchI would not recommend this campsite to anyone. The price was also tough.1 adult and 3 children for 54 euros, for a campsite that has nothing to offer!!!Except that you are constantly being watched. For me, camping was like being in the Stone Age!!!

We thought for a long time about how we would rate the place... the surroundings are wonderful, there is a free zoo, a great outdoor swimming pool and lots of cycle paths for great trips. The campsite itself is manageable, but that's not a disadvantage, and the noise from the road wasn't bothersome either. The sanitary facilities are new and a small playground was also newly built. Nevertheless, we can't rate the place better than 2 stars; the deciding factor for us is the way the operators operate. It became clear pretty quickly that the operators like to hear themselves talk and are completely confident in themselves. The local prices are not cheap and everything is geared towards profit. Anyone who opens the menu can immediately read an article saying that the VAT increase was passed entirely on to the guest, so it's no wonder that the dishes are all crookedly and overpriced. It is highly doubtful that prices were reduced when taxes were reduced... Every card payment is also charged with an additional fee, which would otherwise be borne by the operator. We come from the hospitality industry ourselves and were shocked by such outdated and narrow-minded behavior. There is no possibility to wash your hands when emptying the chemical toilets. There is a disinfectant dispenser, but it was empty. When I asked the operator if she could fill it up for her next guests, she just shrugged her shoulders and referred me to the sanitary building and washrooms. Customer-oriented is different; providing disinfectants would also cost money. The sanitary facilities can only be accessed using flip-flops or a change of shoes provided, and this is meticulously monitored. Our 3-year-old daughter was forced into flip-flops that didn't fit her or that she couldn't even walk in, just because she wanted to go to the toilet quickly and didn't have any other shoes with her. The flip-flops are used by tens of people and supposedly they are disinfected once a day, which still borders on disgust given the number of guests. As a guest you should always have a pair of shoes with you. The place isn't bad if the operators were perhaps a bit more guest-oriented in some things.
