Good location, large, clean rooms with WiFi and TV, good service. Rich breakfast buffet. We were on our way to Lake Garda. The adjacent railway doesn't bother you. Clear recommendation.

Very quiet guesthouse with clean, large rooms. You can put together your own breakfast from the refrigerator available; delicious cheese, fresh fruit and high-quality juices are available every day. It's a 15-minute walk to the town center. Only a few minutes to the Leutaschklamm and Karwendelbahn

Stayed in the garden lodge for two nights. disappointed. An oven and it was just less hot weather. difficult to ventilate. No fan or similar. The use of the space has not been thought through enough. The train is too loud to hear. The blind on the door was totally worn out. Light on the bathroom mirror broken. No insect screens. Light switch makes everything bright or everything dark. No small light, light switch or shelf on the bed etc. The rotting apples in the garden smell and attract wasps. The garden with two lodges is too crowded. The owners probably want to generate too much sales. Everything is somewhat anonymous. At least no one welcomed us personally during the two days. Even the payment and farewell was only professionally friendly in the end. Positive: Mini terrace with lots of sun. Bicycle shed with three sockets, enough car parking spaces, breakfast is good. It would probably be better to distribute all the drinks in one room and all the food in the other. Maybe it's different/better in the building than in the lodges. Don't come back. We already had too many more comfortable accommodations in Mittenwald for that.

We stayed in the apartment and are very, very satisfied!The bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms are very clean and spacious!The landlady is super friendly and very helpful. Even the fridge was stocked with cold drinks if you were thirsty ☺️.We can only recommend the Guesthouse Döring 👍👍 and would be happy to come back.

Were very happy with the room. We booked at relatively short notice for the summer holidays, so it was relatively expensive, but it's okay! Peak travel time💁♂️

We stayed here once on our trip to Lake Garda. The guest house is located on the quiet outskirts of Mittenwald. We slept wonderfully. The room was MEGA clean and I was pleasantly surprised by the many well thought-out details: seat cushions for the balcony chairs, parasol, modern bedside lamps, cosmetic mirror, make-up remover pads, cutlery, plates, glasses. The fridge was filled with drinks at fair prices. Parking right in front of the door. Check-in was easy with a code. Everything great. We will book this accommodation again and can recommend the Gästehaus Döring!!!

We were there for 3 nights. We had a nice large double room with a terrace. Our room also had seating and a small fridge (filled with a few drinks from the local brewery, which you pay for when consumed on the day of departure). Coffee and tea were available throughout the day in one of the 2 breakfast rooms. The breakfast was varied (sausage, cheese, jam, cereal, fresh fruit, juices, rolls, various breads, etc.). It was always refilled.Ms. Döring and her team were very friendly.The house has a quiet location, great mountain views. Everything is easily accessible on foot.All in all, it was a very nice day in Mittenwald and we would love to come back.

Nice room, very nice staff, breakfast extensive. In general, the house and the rooms are very comfortable. Central location, quiet location (despite the occasional train).There is also a very nice mountain view, we can only recommend it.

The only thing left available was a lodge. Looked like a pizza oven when we opened the door. Fortunately it dropped because it started raining that night and the temperature dropped considerably. The price for that lodge plus breakfast was also quite expensive at 115 euros.

Two nights in a garden lodge including breakfast.Very loud, right next to the railway line and Isar. Little space, too few hooks in the bathroom, poor ventilation, sliding door is very difficult. The bed makes loud creaking noises at the slightest movement.Breakfast okay despite small rooms.In short: too expensive, 70€/night including breakfast would be okay but not more than 110€!
