Fantastic accomodation right on the Hexensteig, with the sound of the river to lull you to sleep. My dog and I were welcomed warmly to a large two room suite well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast a real highlight. Highly recommend the price performance ratio alone.

Considering that there is still a lot to do in the accommodation, we had a nice, short time. Enrico is super nice and even made it possible for us to have breakfast, which was excellently prepared... we wish you all the best and hope that we can meet again see you again

Great guesthouse with a great hostel father. I can especially recommend the breakfast, which is very personal. I would love to come over and play table tennis again.Everything is lovingly furnished and drinks are even available on a trust basis.I felt very comfortable and slept really well. It was super relaxing because the Bode was rustling in the background.

Although we were not guests of the Waldfrieden guesthouse, the operators gave us shelter during the devastating storm last Thursday. We were welcomed very warmly and since we were allowed to use the toilet, we can say that the atmosphere in the guest area and the rooms are very nice. The coffee is also delicious :)

Beautiful guesthouse in a quiet location. Enrico is a very nice, open host who takes time for his guests and makes sure that his guests feel comfortable.

A gem in the middle of nature. Starting point for beautiful excursions and hikes. The breakfast is amazing and can be served in the room upon request. Enrico and his wife pamper their guests. Familiar and happy to help if you have any questions. We felt very comfortable.

Great guest house with fantastic owners. We spent 3 nights here and slept wonderfully. Breakfast is a complete surprise. Very tasty! The owners are very friendly and hospitable. Enrico and Dorien, you will certainly see us more often.

I was there with my wife for a weekend. The host is super friendly, the house is great and beautiful. The location is perfect. The prices are fair. I have trouble sleeping and I got the best sleep of my life there. This is because the whole place is lower than the streets and is surrounded by a forest wall. And the beautiful sound of a small waterfall nearby. I plan to return as soon as possible.

Just spent a weekend in the guesthouse.A typical Harz guesthouse.We had a holiday apartment. Everything is there. Bed, couch, kitchen and bathroom with tub.We liked it and slept wonderfully with the sound of the river.We also liked the simplicity. All nice. Breakfast was brought to our room in the morning. We thought that was great. Everything you want and made with absolute love.If you're looking for simplicity and niceness, you'll find great accommodation there.

Great location. Great beds. Great breakfast (even at 9am :-)).Enrico, the landlord, always has a tip about where to stop off in the evening.And he really knows his stuff.And (!) every drink here is available for €1. Very, very nice room (No. 3), which, like the whole house, was rebuilt with a lot of effort.This location surprised me very positively. I wouldn't have expected such a “warm pearl” here.

The owner Enrico is super friendly and gave us a little introduction to the guesthouse when we arrived. We had ordered breakfast for the next morning and it was really nicely presented and was even brought to our room. Enrico has a super cute dog named Stella who really has a lot of fun with her frisbees. Our room was clean and the blankets were beautifully laid out on the bed and a flower greeted us on the bed when we came in. We like it here so much that we will definitely book here again when we go to the Harz! Maren the cleaning lady and Doreen his wife are also really more than friendly and personable! We can only recommend this guesthouse.

I spent three beautiful and quiet days here. The guesthouse and my room were clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast was good, plentiful and very tasty with homemade jam. You have to take care of yourself in the evening, as the restaurants within walking distance close at around 5 p.m. (lack of staff). But that's not the pension's problem.I think I will book here again to enjoy the hospitality of the “Waldfrieden” guesthouse and to experience even more of the wonderful Harz.
