The camping park is beautifully located. There are many cozy plots, some without electricity, delimited by trees and bushes. The Isar flows nearby. At the campsite there is a collection point with sanitary facilities that are clean and well maintained - however, one must take into account the fairly long distance from many of the pitches. The inn is a cozy, small space. Of the four dishes we ordered, three were quite okay, but one fish (the only dish with fish, just under €19) was unfortunately burnt and the fries were completely over-salted. We reported it when paying - no response. For electricity (beginning of November) we paid €33 (€0.85/kWh!) for two nights (with children). For a warm shower you pay €0.50 for 5 minutes. Some showers don't work (we got the money back, but it's still annoying especially after hiking in the evening when you have to stand in a non-working/cold shower). Overall, we were satisfied with the surroundings, but unfortunately the rest wasn't so convincing.

We stayed at the campsite for 7 nights.I have to say at the beginning I thought that the proximity to the main road would be annoying, but on the positive side you have to say that you can hardly hear it. Which, from our point of view, only happens when you are quietly near the street in the very late evening hours. The campsite is really a natural site and yet the sites are very well paved, and although the campsite looks small on the internet, there are many paths for a nice walk around. There are 3 comments that unfortunately bothered me a bit.1. The 24 hour kiosk has two machines, which isn't a bad thing, what bothered me about it is that unfortunately it was never refilled in the 7 nights we were there.2. The playground is unfortunately already very worn out. Not even the slide and the climbing tower but the sandbox border and the fence to the Isar are broken in several corners.3. As I understand it, this is not in the hands of the campsite but of external parties.Unfortunately, the climbing forest was closed or, according to the external website, not allowed to be used.I would have liked it to still be on the campsite's internet. All in all, if we go to the Zugspitze or Karwendel again, we will vacation there.

One of my favorite campsites. Everything is very uncomplicated, just stand where there is space. Directly on the Isar. Ideal for excursions in the region. We come regularly, keep it up.

Very nice campsite right on the Isar.In the middle of a spruce forest. You can actually only find such great places in Norway or Slovenia.Of course, if you want to stand directly on the street, you can also hear it.Further back on the pitch… no problem.

Great campsite! We started a bike tour through the Karwendel from here and booked a barrel for one night. We were of course given the option of a late check-in via a key safe. The sleeping barrel itself was cozy, preheated and with a table and benches, great for eating and/or weathering the rain. The sanitary facilities were the highest quality I've seen in a long time!

A beautiful nature campsite on the Isar. Mittenwald can be reached by bus in just a few minutes. The sanitary facilities are clean. The campsite is on a large road that is busy during the day. It didn't bother me much. The employees are very friendly.
