According to his reactions to reviews, the manager and owner of the guesthouse experiences some hair-raising things. He probably shares his fate with many providers of sleeping accommodation. However, in my experience, they usually react very accommodatingly when it comes to purely organizational problems, such as cancellations of rooms that are then used. Doesn't sound that complicated. However, the Luisenhofmarschall then reacts in such a way that even repeated support from Booking.com cannot bring about relent - stubborn, unfriendly, dismissive. It's great that a room is paid for twice - once as a cancellation fee and once as the room price. His “explanation” here will certainly be that “the system” leaves him no choice. This is hair-raising in my opinion.- - -As suspected: deliberate misrepresentation of what actually happened. And no trace of insight.

Check-in works almost without any problems. After booking you will receive a code for the key safe and a few pictures of where the room is via WhatsApp. What was annoying was that Wi-Fi was advertised, but the access code was not in the room and there was no response to requests via WhatsApp (totally manageable for one night, but unpleasant). There is a parking space for bicycles in the courtyard, but it is uncovered and unmonitored. The room (No. 9) was very large and, apart from the bathroom, very clean. The shower and the shower head in the bathroom were massively calcified so that no water came out of several openings. The mirror was covered with a pattern that had already been partially washed away/peeled off. The breakfast was quite good and sufficient. Overall, it's okay for one night, I wouldn't recommend a longer stay, but the price-performance ratio is too bad.

We only had one night. The rooms were clean, one drawback was the lack of a window in the bedroom as it was very oppressive but otherwise everything was ok. Breakfast was sufficient, it was definitely enough for us, there was something for everyone.We only had contact with one lady for breakfast, as everything else is contactless. But this was very nice!We would stay there again.

Strange owners, I wanted to pay in the afternoon because I went to my friend's house and they made a fuss that I had to pay now because they called the police, I felt like a thief. We were supposed to stay in the hotel for two weeks, but after this situation we gave up and moved to a hotel where you are treated like a guest (that doesn't earn you much) and not like a thief. The rooms were cold, the breakfast was a disaster, two slices of salami and two slices of yellow cheese, the bathroom was all plastic and horrible, like on a ship.

So the room was unfortunately a disaster.Super thin mattress that was also super soft. The bathroom was a complete disaster. A single plastic cubicle with a shower curtain. No blackout blinds or curtains. It was bright day in the room until about 11 p.m.The television, all channels mixed up, HD channels all blocked, SD channels spread all over the place.However, I have to praise the great breakfast and everyone was very friendly.

We have often been guests in Tangermünde because it is my home and I visit my family. I've been booking myself into this guesthouse for years. I can't understand these bad reviews. Some people think they have booked an all-inclusive 5* hotel for this price. Everything works the same as in other guesthouses. The operator and staff are very nice if you are too. I sometimes feel sorry for the employees and what they have to deal with.It is very clean, the outdoor area is beautifully laid out, I love the guest room with the great, historical wall painting and I feel very comfortable there with my breakfast, which is lovingly and adequately prepared.I get the key code on my cell phone and am therefore more flexible in my arrival time.

A small room with a wardrobe with no shelves, just space to hang clothes. There is an oilcloth curtain in the bathroom which makes bathing very difficult. The advantage is a garden with a roof in front of the entrance. This would be a sufficient description of the room, but as far as service is concerned it is a complete failure. The operator of this facility has probably missed his calling and should do something else. From day one the radiators were closed every day, even though I had asked and written to leave the radiator open because I was drying my wet shoes. Despite regularly posting a notice asking people not to disturb their leisure time, people still only went in and turned off the heating, and not even trash was thrown out. Every evening when I returned to a cold room I had to turn on the heater and leave it on the whole time because the rooms were cold. However, a shameful situation arose on the last day. After I returned to the room around 6 p.m., I of course turned off the heating again, but also scattered things from the bathroom and threw shoes on the bed. The door was closed again. This hotel service is terrible. I do not recommend this establishment to any of my guests.This is what the room looked like when I came back. I left him like that. I also lost a few things.

Nice little guesthouse from which the city of Tangermünde can also be easily reached on foot. The breakfast was also great and left nothing to be desired. It's just a shame that the rooms were very cold due to a heating failure.

Guest rooms are clean and tidy, although very compressed,the internet works and is not limited to instant messaging, which is very important for guests who are on business trips, especially abroad, the breakfast is very modest but nicely served, there are vegetables, unfortunately, at 8.00, so if someone is in a hurry to get to work in the morning, they may be hungry.

Unfortunately it is not possible to rate with 0 stars, therefore 1 star.We booked a double room with breakfast. Just in time for check-in, the WhatsApp message came with the code for the key box and a question about the desired time for breakfast. Otherwise breakfast time is between 8 and 10.We responded promptly, the response was not read. We stood in front of the breakfast room and reception at 8 a.m., doors closed, lights off, no one around. So we left without breakfast because we couldn't wait any longer and wanted to see if someone might show up later.We thought we were in the “land of the early risers”.It was a disgrace that there was no apology even hours later, that's how you treat paying guests, just ignore them.According to the owner's answer: what do we actually gain from writing untruths? We would have preferred breakfast. And "by the way": I don't have a 0 star rating. But they were good at finding excuses (the staff in the brightly lit room at 7.30 😁), it would have been nice if we could have had breakfast there too.

Reasonably priced, well-located guesthouse that is particularly suitable for short stays.The rooms are on the first floor and can only be reached via a fairly steep staircase, small but okay. Keys are only handed over contactlessly via a safe; It worked well for me, but a few other guests had problems, especially since no one from the operator was on site in the afternoon. My single room had a bathroom, bed, desk, television. Unfortunately no fridge or minibar.Bathroom has a shower that you can also sit in. Location is ideal for cyclists on the Elbe cycle path or short stays; The guesthouse is located in a quiet side street near the old town (approx. 700 m walk).Breakfast is okay (rolls, eggs, coffee, cold cuts, cereal, juice).Unfortunately the bed in my room was very sagging.Unfortunately, the big drawback is the service, specifically the cleaning of the rooms. This did not happen during my stay. Only upon departure will/was cleaned. That might work for a short stay of two days, but it's not so nice for a week.Therefore unfortunately no recommendation.
