Great accommodation in the heart of the Spreewald. The host is a very friendly person who is easy to talk to. The visit is worth it for him alone. From the accommodation you can easily get anywhere on foot. Of course it's faster by bike. We were completely satisfied and will definitely repeat our visit.

Very quiet location in natural surroundings. We spent a relaxing short vacation here. The breakfast was sufficient, coffee was endless and the price, like the overnight stay, was affordable and not too expensive. We felt very comfortable, we were able to rent bicycles for a small thaler and the host also makes many other things possible if you ask. The rooms and yard were beautifully maintained.It was a celebration for us to have spent the days with you and we would love to come back

Nice guesthouse, nice, very high-quality room, breakfast OK, the owner takes very good care of his guests. We felt comfortable. I would recommend traveling by car, as the bus connection there is extremely poor (e.g. there are no buses from there on weekends, we had to walk about 2 km with luggage to the train).

I can't say anything about the stay because my booking request hasn't even been answered yet.On booking.com, available rooms in the desired category were displayed in this guesthouse in the specified period. However, since I didn't want to book through booking.com, I contacted the property directly via email 10 days ago. To this day I have not received any response.In the age of electronic communication, it shouldn't be a problem to send a short reply (including rejection!) in a timely manner? By the way, a call or text message to my cell phone would also have been possible; I had provided all my contact details.But no answer at all is rude at best and leaves the worst possible impression! (By the way, the rooms are still shown as available on the booking portal - are private bookings not wanted or wanted?)I have now booked another accommodation. It took around 36 hours from the first non-binding inquiry to the booking confirmation. That's how service works!

Quietly located, Lübbenau can be reached quickly with a rental bike from the “Froschkönig”. Nice welcome from the manager of the guesthouse (Mr. Olaf Schiege) along with nice guests. I'll be booking again soon at the Pension zum Froschkönig.Many greetings F.W. from Berlin

We've never seen such a dirty room before, you couldn't see through the windows because of the dirt, when we arrived I first disinfected the bathroom, I don't even want to talk about the toilet, we dropped a tablet on the floor, terrible as it was looked like under the sofa. Breakfast was okay. Our room was booked by friends. The entire outdoor area is run down. Under no circumstances would I book this again

I liked a lot. Be it the unusual breakfast, or the host fulfilling our wishes when we had something on our minds. The location was perfect, we cycled a good 3 km to Lübbenau and we were there. We were able to rent the bikes for a small extra charge.We were his guests in his guesthouse from July 31, 2023 to August 6, 2023.

Never again frog prince...We wanted to spend a long weekend there, but left immediately after viewingThe rooms were very dirty dusty and full of cobwebsMattresses in bed stained, toilet dirty, sink and shower too. Bathroom overall just disgusting and in urgent need of renovation.

Unfortunately not particularly recommended, a bit run down, a lot needs to be done, very unclean in the accommodations. Breakfast was sufficient.

Thank you for a relaxing holiday in a quiet, natural environment. Every morning we were able to start the day with a delicious and extensive breakfast. The owner of the guesthouse was always available. All our wishes would be fulfilled.

As grandparents, we and the juniors spent days together in the family-friendly guesthouse. We started the day with a good breakfast for only €5, following tips from the friendly operator. The outdoor seating options (partly covered) were particularly pleasant. The chilled beer in self-service rounded off the day. The car was safely parked on the property.
