It was very nice. The family is very nice and friendly. The shepherd's wagon is very comfortable, small but nice. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom. The breakfast in the box was very good, you had everything you needed and you could catch up if necessary

A short break with the kids that was very worth it! We specifically chose the shepherd's wagon to be even closer to nature. Well equipped with everything you need (heating/air conditioning/TV/induction hob) and very comfortable - we slept well. The private, modern bathroom (toilet and shower) is located a few meters in the annex, which was absolutely no problem for us. Great breakfast service with a lavish offering. The hospitality was also great! Uncomplicated and friendly communication. Our daughter was able to take part in the forest tour at short notice. Was also a good starting point for a day trip to the Rulantica swimming pool and 3D mini golf in Lahr. We'll definitely come back :-)

the Kempfenhof has to be once a year. It is so indescribably beautiful there. It has become my second home and I can't imagine not going there anymore.My children weren't there for the first time this year, which was kind of strange 🤔In any case, the milk rolls are so delicious.Rosi and Lize, Basti are so sweet. We spent a very nice holiday here. The quiet location, the many animals and, above all, the very friendly and helpful hostess made this holiday unforgettable. The apartment was very modern and comfortable, nothing was missing. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Highly recommended for families. We will be very happy to come back.

We were at the Kempfenhof for the second time, together with a family of friends, and everyone, big and small, really enjoyed it again. The boys love their pony walks, the bunnies and the playground and what parents like better on vacation than happy children ;) The holiday apartments are also great, so you can sit together comfortably to end the day. Our son would love to jet off again straight away - we will definitely do it again!

We spontaneously booked the mini apartment and spent great days at the Kempfenhof. We felt so comfortable that we booked the shepherd's wagon again for October.There were a lot of regular guests there. They took us in immediately and we felt like we were part of a “big” family. Everyone was there for everyone. Our daughter (7) arrived at the farm from the first second and immediately connected with the many children who showed her everything. We personally found it great and helpful that so many experienced guests were there.The riding lessons with Lize are simply great and you can learn a lot in a very short time. During the forest ride, mom was able to check her fitness again 😄Many thanks to Lize and Rosi for the nice break and to the whole team and all the guests this week 🥰

We have been loyal to the Kempfenhof for many years and will continue to spend our holidays there!! It doesn't matter whether you have small children or older ones, whether you are a die-hard rider or a beginner, whether you are an absolute animal enthusiast or someone who just wants to get a taste of city life. There is something for everyone at KempfenHof. An idyllic landscape, diverse animal life, top riding options, helping out on the farm if you want, or simply enjoying the beautiful excursion options in the area, including the extensive gastronomic offerings! The accommodations also leave nothing to be desired, comfortable, Black Forest rusticity, peace and quiet and a super nice, hospitable family who are always supportive and great to talk to! We always feel completely at home with the Fehrenbach family and are always happy to come back.

The Kempfenhof in Seelbach is a great place to switch off. Everyone gets their vacation here. The children can ride horses and help out on the farm and the parents can go hiking or just unwind. The Fehrenbach family warmly welcomes every guest and puts a lot of passion into their farm. We were guests at the Kempfenhof twice and are already looking forward to next year.

We had a great time at Kempfenhof! This was our 4th visit to a farm and we will definitely come back here.Felizitas and her mom are very warm and if you want to help on the farm, they will find a job for everyone.We'll be back and are really looking forward to it!

We were really looking forward to the time out there.We noticed that there are a lot of experienced day guests there and there is a lot of business on a farm like this anyway.It was the first visit for us and so we didn't want to impose our 'support'.We missed the introduction a bit - but there was probably a course that was running at the same time and so we simply made our own program.Nevertheless, people asked whether everything was OK. But actual contact with the animals was missing.We probably just got the wrong time.The shepherd's wagon was an absolutely great and fully equipped place for the days and the option to order breakfast was also good.One idea would be to purchase/offer allergy sufferers bed linen.

We have been vacationing at the Kempfenhof several times a year with our 3 grandchildren for over 11 years. It's exciting and there's always something new to see.If it rains heavily, the play barn is a great alternative,e.g. play table tennis with the grandchildren, browse through the booksand much more.The animals in the enclosures and in the stable are always oneWorth a visit and happy to be fed.The highlight for our grandchildren is always the great horses with which you can experience beautiful rides in the forest or even riding lessons with an expert guide.There is always a pleasant atmosphere throughout the Kempfenhof.

Anyone looking for peace and closeness to nature has come to the right place. The little house was super cozy. Equipped with everything you need. Great terrace with a view of the forest and meadows. The landlady is very accommodating. We were greeted with fresh eggs and homemade jam. It’s also really great for families. Lots of space to run around and play. Lots of animals to admire. We were there with our 5 year old son for a week and everything was really great and tip top, everything was clean and very nice. Our son rode a pony and was really happy. We will definitely come back more often in November or December.Best regards

A fantastic experience! The Fehrenbach family's holiday and horse farm in the Black Forest is truly a jewel for horse lovers and anyone looking for an idyllic break. From the first moment you can feel the love and commitment with which this farm is run. The horses are well cared for, and the rides through the picturesque landscape of the Black Forest were an absolute highlight of my vacation. The accommodations are cozy and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The Fehrenbach family offers warm hospitality that makes your stay something very special. If you want to experience the Black Forest from its most beautiful side, you should definitely spend a few days on this farm. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!
