Everything was right for us here! We were warmly welcomed. We were able to meet great fellow vacationers. The wonderful and lovingly prepared breakfast buffet was always a great start to the day. A holiday paradise at its best. Thanks for the great time!

The treasure chest is an absolute place of power. In addition to the optimal location between Zwiesel, Bodenmais and the Czech Republic, many hiking tours (Großer and Kleiner Arber, Großer Falkenstein) are perfectly accessible. Within walking distance there are also two classic Bavarian restaurants with very good price-performance ratios, which complement the restaurant offerings in Zwiesel and the surrounding area. The rooms in the Pension Schatzkisterl are optimally tailored to the desired needs and the “service” offered by Doreen and Martin can rival many a grand hotel - what the two hosts have to offer in terms of commitment and quality (e.g. breakfast, responsiveness, warmth, local tips, etc.) is absolutely Champions League level. Unfortunately, some guests forget too easily that Pension Schatzkisterl is actually “just” a guesthouse. Our second stay in the Schatzkisterl (this time 8 nights, family) is again perfect to recharge our “empty batteries”. A tip for anyone interested: It is advisable to book early, as the Schatzkisterl regularly hosts a lot of regular guests. Otherwise, one can only wish that honest, characterful guesthouses like the Schatzkisterl never die out, but always receive the necessary attention and respect. Please keep it up!

Our vacation with Doreen and Martin was simply wonderful!The warm welcome, the excellent service and the lovingly furnished rooms were a “pure vacation” for us.The morning breakfast buffet was always delicious and left nothing to be desired.We definitely recommend the “Schatzkisterl”. 5 stars are still not enough!!!Thank you very much again for the lovely holiday with you! We will be very happy to come back.

The stay in this guesthouse with Doreen and Martin in February 2024 was simply fantastic! From the warm welcome to the lovingly decorated rooms, we felt comfortable and welcome from the first moment. The breakfast buffet was delicious and left nothing to be desired. Doreen and Martin were extremely friendly and accommodating and made us feel at home. Ending the day in a cozy atmosphere was a positive experience for us. A positive aspect is the location of the guesthouse, which is very close to the Bavarian National Park, where you could take wonderful walks.We can positively recommend the guesthouse. The Berlin and Spree forests.

We stayed at Martin and Doreen's guesthouse for 2 nights with a group of 11 people.The rooms are very clean and furnished according to a certain motto - not overloaded or tasteless, but very thoughtful and loving. Since the weather wasn't particularly nice during our trip, we couldn't use the garden; This is also very well maintained and offers great corners to enjoy peace and relaxation.The breakfast, which we were able to enjoy twice, was AMAZING - for such a "small" guesthouse there was a very diverse selection, so that nothing to be desired was left unfulfilled. The two hosts were always available for requests and fulfilled them immediately.We also got great tips on where to go for a walk and have a coffee - great all-round support!

On our hike through the region we accidentally and spontaneously ended up with Doreen and Martin.All I can really say is WOW... The guesthouse is incredibly lovingly decorated, decorated and decorated. There are new details everywhere and you just feel welcome. The room was great, the breakfast was the best of the whole trip... I think there are pictures here that can prove that.The two are really warm, funny and always up for a really nice chat.I hope we see each other again. After unfortunately only two nights in the "Schatzkisterl" ❤️❤️ fell in love with this guesthouse. The two super nice hosts Doreen and Martin welcomed us very warmly and treated us to a rich, delicious breakfast. Your tips for excursions and also for our culinary well-being were always a hit.It was our first time in the "Schatzkisterl", but it certainly won't be the last time.

We stayed four nights in the Pension Schatzkisterl, the guesthouse is a dream. The owners Doreen and Martin read your wishes straight from your eyes. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and from regional companies. The quality is Top . Finally I can only say we will be back!!!!!!!!

Super nice couple runs the shop. We met Martin and Doreen, always in a good mood. We were treated to breakfast with wit and charm. In the evening, after our great tours on our motorbikes, there was a cozy, almost family get-together.Is ideal for tours in all directions.The entire guesthouse is decorated with attention to detail."Always something different", beautiful, tasteful, imaginative and cozy"Definitely recommended!!!
