A great inn with great service 👍We stayed here as part of a visit to Europa Park and were very satisfied.From the greeting to the farewell, there is always a friendly smile and you felt very well looked after here.The rooms are a bit old, but not the bed, which was very comfortable and not sagging, I slept wonderfully.If you are a guest here, you should definitely visit the restaurant, the price is very reasonable and the taste is simply great.

When entering the almost empty restaurant, the boss said somewhat unfriendly: "without a reservation, um... but next time we should definitely make a reservation." The service there was very nice and the food was okay too.

Stayed 1 night. Friendly people who provide a good breakfast. My family and I were spread across 3 rooms, 1 of which was across the street. That was a little less. Otherwise fine for a 1 night stay. In the middle of the village

It's always best to call in advance to see if there are spaces available.Whether inside or outside it is always very comfortable.And you feel good.The menu is manageable but it is very tasty 😋.Especially regional cuisine.

Very nice place with friendly owners! The rooms and breakfast place -without saying it's bad- have character. I like that any day over a 13 in a dozen modern hotel. My place to go when I visit Europapark! Parking is best at Auf den Espen 9, Ettenheim. It's a bit out of the city center but It's free and a nice walk to the Gasthaus.

We stayed at this inn three times and were always very satisfied. Unfortunately it didn't work out so well for the third time. The heating didn't work and it was quite cold at night. The next morning we realized that we didn't have any warm water either. The room was clean, but when cleaning you also have to remove the spiders and cobwebs.As always, the hosts are very friendly and the food is excellent in the restaurant.

Totally deserved 5 stars! We were there yesterday and absolutely loved the service and the food. Nice, attentive care, reasonable prices and a roast venison that I would easily drive the 500km again for. A dream!!!

I have rarely eaten something so delicious and especially homemade!! The waitresses are incredibly friendly and loving without being intrusive. Chef, amazing!!I already picked out this restaurant at home based on the menu and the reviews.When we arrived, we first had to look for a parking space because it was in the middle of the old town and in a narrow alley. From the outside I thought, oh where have I ended up here? We made a reservation and then went in.As soon as you walk in you can tell that it is a rustic family-run restaurant.We were greeted very warmly and friendly. I was still unsure whether it was really the right choice.At the beginning we had a Flädle soup, and here I noticed that the broth was really home-made and was cooked with love.Next we have a small salad, I have rarely had such a good and especially fresh salad.For the main course we chose cordon bleu, with croquettes/spaetzle, stable hare with bread dumplings, schnitzel with fries. It was really just a dream.Here you could taste that cooking is still done with love and dedication. No schnitzel from the deep fryer or sauces from the package. The sauces tasted excellent.Unfortunately, and I have to mention this here, the restaurant was relatively empty, which is certainly due to the location. Personally, I felt really sorry for the operators and when I spoke to them, it turned out that they were having a really hard time. That's such a shame, please people give the older, remote economies a chance and above all, have faith. These are often an absolute insider tip.For me it was definitely an insider tip and we will really be looking forward to coming back to enjoy this fabulous meal.Here again a big thank you to the whole team. Please keep going and don't give up.

The food tasted very good and there weren't any long waiting times. Unfortunately, there was no cozy atmosphere and the service seemed to be rather moderately motivated. The price of the dishes was around €14

Nice and clean room.Very friendly service!The location is in the beautiful old town, making it a very central starting point for many activities. My only downside is that there are no parking spaces of our own, so with a bit of luck there will either be a marked spot on the street in front of the house with a limit until 8 a.m. or a walk of about 150m to public parking spaces with no parking time limit.

We were only there to eat. At first the lady at reception didn't want to give us the free table, which she said was still available, on the grounds that it would be presumptuous to spontaneously want to eat in a restaurant on Saturday. All I can do is shrug my shoulders.The food was mediocre, but it was good enough to fill you up.
