Very quiet environment, great atmosphere and very nice hostess. The breakfast is also very tasty. Dogs are very welcome. We were there for the second time and not the last time.

Although the owner was nice, there was a lot of mold infestation, especially in the bathroom in the shower (black mold). As noted 2 weeks ago, this is still the case, sometimes even worse in other rooms.

Quiet hotelWe took a short vacation there. Were very satisfied. Our wishes were taken care of promptly, ideal even with a dog, which doesn't cost anything extra.Thank you again and all the best for the future. If it fits, I'd be happy to do it again..

Maybe it was nice and clean there in the past. Unfortunately, this definitely cannot be confirmed. The owner makes an effort, but there are things that you don't necessarily want to expect of paid guests. Unless you have very low standards. Then you would be right here. The beds we had in the double room were extremely sagging, so you could start the day with back pain in the morning. The significant mold growth on the bathroom grouting, most of which has already turned black or you could see the transition from brown to black. This was already crumbling from the curtain walls when the shower was turned on. In addition, there are exposed electrical cables on a wall mirror, which is heartlessly eking out its existence on the wall with hardware store OSB panels. No smoke detector in the room, just a tiny smoke detector of a similar type in the hallway on the 1st floor. Cracks with water lines in the hotel room partition walls. Only one chair in a double room! Room furnishings look very thrown together from the late 80s and early 90s. Very overgrown property with a pond or now currently a swamp. Room walls that are very noisy and the internet connection is far too weak with Wi-Fi that is no longer up to date. The hot water system no longer seems to be the most efficient because you only have hot water for a limited time at the beginning, which then gets colder and colder. Significant water damage to the masonry can be seen on the upper floor and in the basement of the building, so that the wallpaper-like structures are already curling several times. It seems as if there are also private apartments in the building. This can be seen in the fully furnished basement area, which is separated by a construction fence and where hotel guests can obviously store their drinks in a refrigerator. Unfortunately, the breakfast wasn't that lavish either. There were the same baked rolls every day. The typically packaged, jam-like spreads expired in April of this year and the flower honey, packaged in the same way, had already reached its best-before date in February of this year. Accordingly, you had to squeeze the honey onto your baked roll. Everything seemed very counted and prepared in a really simple way. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it, unless the demands are very low. Then this location may be something, but otherwise it's a clear NO!

We really liked it here. Ms. Baumann was very friendly and helpful and small requests were fulfilled immediately. We always felt welcome and not like annoying guests, as has happened to us in other hotels. There was a great and rich breakfast, and our wishes were also happily catered for. The hotel is located on the edge of the forest in a quiet location ideal for hiking or cycling tours. In any case, we felt very comfortable all around and will definitely come back.Dear Ms. Baumann, thank you very much for the wonderful time and warm greetings from the Erzgebirge.
