The star rating is of course in relation to the price. I had to travel to Munich during Oktoberfest time to attend a 9:00 a.m. meeting. The stop at Pension Assmann was perfect. Only 60 KM from my destination and with a large supermarket and a charging station for my electric car in the immediate area, it was perfect for my needs.

Absolutely top, full marks!On my bike trip to the northwest I came across the Pension Assmann by chance. Was a direct hit.Cheap & good. The guesthouse and the rooms are modern, clean and the bed is at least 2x better than the more expensive star hotel the night before.The Pension Assmann may not look like much from the outside - but please don't let that fool you.The heart is present inside :)If I ever come back to the area, I definitely know where I will stay again.

Really cozy and clean room. Was well received at the reception. Asked a question about a restaurant and the receptionist came up with a lot of suggestions for where to eat.All in all a nice experience at a reasonable price. Good parking facilities.Can be highly recommended.

Great room for an overnight stay, but very stuffy because there is no air conditioning. We were there on a hot summer day, which caused us some discomfort. The rooms are also neat and there is even a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, which was nice. Host and Hostess are also very friendly.

Good hotel with very accommodating owners.Even tools for the car (torque wrench for a flat tire) were provided free of charge.Uncomplicated behavior and a very natural and pleasant friendliness and willingness to help.For us a top location for an overnight stay close to the A9 on the way to Croatia.

I stayed here for 2 nights. My cat and I were received very friendly. The rooms are clean and functionally furnished. If you come spontaneously, you will find everything. Toothbrush, shower gel, hairdryer, there is also a TV and a refrigerator in the wardrobe. The towels were lovingly folded. I had an elephant on the bed. There was also a microwave and a kettle on the floor. The breakfast buffet was very varied and delicious. If you don't get enough, it's your own fault. A small note: the rooms are on the 2nd floor without an elevator. Parking spaces are available in front of the house and there is the Gasthof FRÖHLICH about 200m further. You can have a very good dinner there. He also makes his own ice cream.Pension Assmann is highly recommended.

We traveled as a family with a dog. We received a friendly welcome. Dogs are also welcome, but are not allowed in the breakfast room. The breakfast is loving, well stocked, there is something for everyone here.The rooms are clean and specially prepared to welcome you. There was enough space in the room for a dog basket. We felt very comfortable. Great value for money for us.

A very nice place to relax. The owners of the boarding house are very kind. The price for the rooms is not expensive. The room is clean and has everything you need. It was nice to see a sweet gift and perfume on the bed. Parking is free. Highway 9 is nearby.

A nice guesthouse/accommodation is easy to find if you come from the motorway, but you have to drive a bit through the town (larger village) and there is even a parking lot where there is about 2 (trucks) space and 2 vans and cars. Almost directly in front of the guesthouse, there is also space for 12t/15t or even 7.5t (12t) with a trailer (e.g. Stardeixel and two axle trailer). Semi-trailer with trailer is a bit problematic (space and route to the guesthouse and back out onto the motorway. It's nice and quiet and cozy there. I was very happy with it. Recommended, however, only a limited number of guests are possible. You can make your own food, for example with a microwave for all guests and dishes in the stairwell before going to the rooms on the platform.

Very nice hosts, the room has been prepared with a lot of love. There was a private kitchen, a TV, shower gel, towels, a hairdryer and a disposable toothbrush. I felt very comfortable.

A great guesthouse at good prices (09/2023). Our room was in the new building. Two restaurants can be reached on foot within 5 minutes. Any time.
