I recently had the pleasure of staying at Okelmann's Hotel and I must say, it was an exceptional experience that exceeded my expectations in many ways.First and foremost, the location itself is absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained. The hotel's charm is evident in every detail, from the beautifully landscaped garden to the well-kept facilities. It's clear that a great deal of care goes into ensuring that the property remains in top condition.The rooms are spacious, offering ample space to relax and unwind. I particularly appreciated that they were cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis, which added to the overall comfort of my stay.The hotel also boasts plenty of parking spaces, which is a huge plus for guests traveling by car.One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. For a German hotel, the breakfast spread was surprisingly rich, plentiful, and absolutely delicious.The wellness area is another strong point of Okelmann. The sauna and jacuzzi provided the perfect way to relax after a long day. However, I do think it would be beneficial if the hotel could provide a set for heating the water in the jacuzzi, as it would add to the overall experience. Additionally, while the room amenities were generally satisfactory, I did find the number of towels provided to be slightly insufficient.Lastly, I want to commend the staff for their outstanding service. They consistently went above and beyond to meet my needs, making my stay all the more enjoyable. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist were truly commendable.Overall, despite a couple of minor improvements that could be made, I would highly recommend Okelmann's Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The combination of beautiful surroundings, spacious rooms, excellent amenities, and top-notch service makes this hotel a standout choice.

As a couple with a dog, we stayed at the hotel for a few days to have a “short honeymoon” and what can we say, our expectations were exceeded. We wanted to relax and the relaxation started immediately because you can't be reached on your cell phone, don't worry, WiFi is available.The staff are consistently very friendly and attentive and are almost always available for a little chat.You can easily start smaller and larger hiking tours from the hotel, and the staff can also help with tips on possible excursion destinations.For the culinary side, the breakfast is balanced and delicious, the rolls are a dream. In the afternoon you can highly recommend the café, which offers homemade cakes, coffee specialties, but also ice cream etc. Just the right thing after a hiking tour.In the evening you can dine very well in the restaurant, a little warning, the portions are very generous, so if necessary, leave out the starter so that there is still room for the delicious desserts.We'll definitely be back.P.S. The hotel is very dog friendly

Beautiful, very quiet property. On the premises there is the hotel, a cafe, a restaurant, the reception and the rooms spread over different buildings. There is also a sauna car with a "hot tub" on the premises and probably a lot more that I didn't discover.Very nice reception, rooms modern and at the same time classically furnished and very clean.Great, varied breakfast offering, where vegan lovers also get their money's worth and a wide range of high-quality organic products are available.The fact that there is no cell phone reception on the premises, "only" WiFi, may seem unusual at first, but it is actually the icing on the cake when you want to let go of everyday stress. ;)At dinner with a business group, we were well entertained and provided with high-quality, delicious food and drinks.Definitely worth seeing again!!!

This was my third time at Onkelmanns. Each for a business trip. The rooms were always clean and tastefully decorated. If you arrive at night there is a safe where you can collect your room key. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is good.

In mid-November we visited the Okelmann's restaurant as a small office team of 10 people to have our early Christmas party. The contact via email in advance was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we were very happy to accept the pre-Christmas menu suggestion based on our event. The actual visit also earned the full 5 stars for us on all levels. Starting with the delicious mulled wine at the beginning with which we were able to warm up, through the sensational 3-course menu to the pleasant service, which looked after us attentively throughout the evening and was at the same time discreet. Even the little things like the table decorations or the strikingly beautiful mulled wine cups show how much attention to detail there is at Okelmann's. Thanks again to the whole team for a really nice evening.

Wonderful! Really delicious and healthy food (vegan and vegetarian options were great for me). High-quality room that, with its minimalism (and lovely room scent!), really helped me switch off and find silence. The yoga retreat was so nice too! Yogi Tea was available free of charge everywhere! I would be happy to come back and can only recommend Okelmann's to anyone who wants to spend an enjoyable and mindful break in the country. With very friendly founders!
