We were there with a caravan. I can't say anything about the rooms. But the place is great and the sanitary facilities are very clean.

Booking and process were perfect. We were there at the beginning of autumn, which is why the place was not well attended. The facility is well maintained, the pitches are really big enough, the sanitary facilities are extensive and clean. The location on Biggesee is perfect. However, one note is important to me:There are some parking spaces that would be difficult to compensate for with a motorhome even with good lifting supports due to the slope - especially in the roundabouts! The online booking system doesn't take this into account (or I didn't see it) and could cause problems.

Hello Camping Biggesee team,Since you asked for a review directly via email, here are our impressions. The staff at the information desk is very friendly. The natural wagon is very clean, very comfortable inside, warm and big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. There are a few details that could be improved (light-proof shutters, or shelves in the cupboard, for example a small pot for the large one). The “terrace” of the natural wagons cannot actually be used for sitting outside. At least not by four people at the same time. Then you sit in front of the door and when you want to get something inside, things get interesting. But what really bothered us was the very large gap between the advertised “in the middle of nature” and reality. The cars are parked at the fence at the very edge of the campsite. Behind the fence there is a large car park (fortunately not very busy in the off-season), a sports field (floodlights and training noises) and a clearly audible country road (L512).The restaurant "Taverne am See" is only open a few days a week in the low season and we could only have eaten there on our last evening. The website says: "...may vary seasonally". In my opinion, this needs to be communicated differently. The mini market was permanently closed.Access to the lake is closed from 8 p.m., so stargazing on the Parkpank is not possible. It is understandable that some services are not available in the off-season. However, the offer here and, above all, the advertised proximity to nature are not as advertised. All in all, the stay was not what we had hoped based on the advertising.Best regards

Absolutely recommended. Very nice people and very fond of animals.Unfortunately, the “Taverne” restaurant does not accept card payments. But if you walk 15-20 minutes from the square by the lake you will reach a very well-run and incredibly tasty restaurant.

Clean and family-friendly campsite where dogs are also allowed. Many excursion destinations nearby. The sanitary facilities are very clean, and there is a machine that automatically fills and refills the camping toilet.
