We felt very comfortable. Great ambience, service, top hygiene, equipment. Very good meals, tasty and varied. We came with a toddler and baby and there was nothing missing.

So I don't really recommend this youth hostel, unless you want to get two dents on your head like me because of the bunk beds that are built too low, and if you have arachnophobia you should also get away very quickly. But food was okay.

Very beautiful castle with a great atmosphere. Everything was very well maintained and clean. Top breakfast, dinner a bit blandly seasoned, but you don't have to expect star cuisine. Everyone will find something to fill them up! Free water dispenser in the foyer.Approximately 10 minutes drive to the Karl May Festival.Really a nice youth hostel with very nice staff.

Already a special youth hostel because of the castle. In addition, there are lovely and nice people who work there and make the stay a great experience. What great service!

I was there on a school trip last week and I'd rather not go because we weren't allowed to use cell phones. I don't have any pictures, but two of my friends found snails in their food and then a worm and a bone. I felt sick and my friend had to throw up Didn't eat anything at all and the rooms were pretty stuffy so you'd better go somewhere else because that was the worst school trip
