Great and well-equipped guesthouse close to the start of the Eifel Wilderness Trail.Very friendly and personal welcome, but above all an incredibly good and rich breakfast 😍😍😍. So rich that we were able to take something with us for the day hike - great.Clear recommendation for hikers!

We felt very welcome and at home right from the first second. Which is not least due to the wonderful nature of the hosts. Unfortunately we were only there for a few days, but we really enjoyed it! Also worth mentioning is the lovingly prepared breakfast, which is second to none. A true dream!

We wanted to spend our vacation here with our dog. On the day of arrival we moved out again because tiny rooms with mini showers and toilets that you couldn't move around were out of the question. And in this room we were supposed to spend 9 days with a big dog.Everything seems worn and dingy.We were allowed to pay a great cancellation fee, almost 100%.We strongly advise against this accommodation if you want to stay for more than 1 to 2 days.And especially not with a dog.Please keep your hands off it.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished. Kudos to the hostess! She was extremely friendly and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The service was excellent. The location of the guesthouse is beautiful, but you should know that the way down to Monschau is quite strenuous, especially the way back. Overall, we had a great time and I can definitely recommend the Pension zum tired Wandersmann. Thank you for the hospitality!

It is a highly recommended bed and breakfast, run by an extremely hospitable lady. Everything is very cozy and homely! And the nice thing is that the guesthouse is very quietly located above Monschau. There is a charming footpath from there to the pretty town of Monschau. The breakfast in the guesthouse is rich, delicious and lovingly arranged.

We were able to spend one night here as part of our visit to the Christmas market in Monschau. It's about a 15-minute walk to the old town in Monschau, so it's perfect.We received a very friendly welcome, the rooms are cozy and rustically furnished. Our highlight was the breakfast: you can specify special requests and get a great selection of delicious things. From muesli to rolls and scrambled eggs, there is something for everyone. We felt very comfortable!

We were there over the weekend and felt very comfortable. Everything was small and nice and loving and the “hospitality” was just great. Always something small and nice as a surprise and the breakfast was really great and plentiful according to special requests. We also always got good tips on how to get where, what was worth seeing and where to eat well, including table reservations. Just great.

The guesthouse is very comfortable. The hostess is very open to the guests. She is very fond of animals.She tries very hard to serve guests a good, filling and healthy breakfast. This guesthouse is recommended, especially if you are traveling with a dog.

This guesthouse gets all full stars from us. As already described many times, it is in a great location for all excursion options in the area. Regarding the rooms, yes, it has a retro look and is very comfortable. We were always out and about during the day, so we didn't need a 5* star hotel. Although we have to say that we found the breakfast to be at the level of a 5* hotel. Excellent! All you can say about the boss is that she has “THE HEART” in the right place. She is very responsive to the guests' wishes and is happy to pass on tips and insider knowledge. For example, where you can get the best fries in Belgium (about a 20-minute drive from the guesthouse). Our little dog Paula was also warmly welcomed and felt comfortable. We've traveled a lot, but we've never experienced a family business that puts so much heart and love into every little detail. Sorry... but if you're still complaining here, you shouldn't unpack your bags and go back home drive.Thank you for allowing us to be your guests.All the best

I was only there for one night, but I felt really comfortable. The welcome was great and the hostess is really warm...the guest really is the king. The retro style of the guesthouse like in grandma's time.... wonderful. Rooms small but nice and very clean. The breakfast is like a gourmet breakfast, it's rare to get such a great breakfast and to top it off, intolerances, vegan and vegetarian are taken into account, it really can't be more perfect. I can recommend the guesthouse 100% and I will come back :-)

Anyone who likes a rustic, cozy atmosphere is in good hands there. Price/performance is good. Breakfast was always sufficient and prepared with a lot of love. The landlady is very nice and helps in every situation. The garden could be shared.We felt very comfortable there.

Very nice house and landlady. Unfortunately the room smelled like a sewer, the bed was very low and hard.Wonderful breakfast.Breakfast unique.Unsuitable for disabled people as the history of the house requires climbing stairs everywhere.We will still come back and hope the smell is fixed!
