For a spontaneous short vacation on our favorite island, we booked an apartment in the home port of Juist.Thanks to Mrs. and Mr. Drees with their lovingly furnished house in a prime location, four perfect days followed. We were guests in the home port for 5 days. This is the right place to unwind. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and you have the opportunity to take care of yourself. The service is top and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.A thoroughly recommended house.We'll be back.

We have learned to love this apartment building. The hotel's facilities are top notch: modern, loving, bright and very well maintained. The location to the beach, which is within walking distance, is ideal. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness and attentiveness of the hosts: we always felt welcome and really had the feeling of having arrived in a “home port”.

We spent our summer holidays on the beautiful island of Juist. We stayed there at Heimathafen, which is owned by Mr and Mrs Drees. Very friendly people who are still passionate about their business and know what hospitable means. An extremely beautiful apartment (building), located on the edge of the village and near the beach. The apartment was fully furnished and equipped with all facilities, excellent beds and above all very clean. The breakfast service is highly recommended and a nice way to start the day. In addition, Juist is an island for walking, running, enjoying nature, taking walks on the beach, cycling, etc. In short, Juist is highly recommended as a place to stay!

We were in the home port for 5 days and were really very happy. The rooms are new and cozy, the breakfast service is outstanding (we even ordered breakfast to our room once) and the location is amazing! The owners are also very nice and accommodating. A great accommodation that we would recommend again and again ♥️

A really nice place to relax. The hosts warmly welcome you. The rooms are a dream: beautiful, modern and very, very clean. In the morning you are greeted cheerfully and courteously at breakfast and have a large selection. The beach is well saturated and can be reached on foot in just one minute. You are well equipped with our own beach backpacks and towels. An absolute top address that really leaves nothing to be desired and that we are happy to recommend to friends!

The home port does what it promises - it feels like home after just one visit. The lovingly furnished rooms, the fresh and varied breakfast prepared according to individual wishes and, last but not least, the very warm manner of the Drees family make the visit a pure feel-good holiday.We'd love to come back!

Luxurious, cozy accommodation, modernly equipped. The rooms were well maintained and super clean. Very friendly hosts. Almost in the middle of the dunes (totally quiet at night), and still only a 5-minute walk to the center.We felt very comfortable.

The perfect accommodation on Juist for us. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the Drees couple, we immediately felt at home. The rooms are stylishly and detailedly furnished, the breakfast was a delight, we were able to put together our own selection every day. No question remained unanswered. A bookshelf to browse, games to borrow, beach towels, etc. - it was just wonderful. The proximity to the beach was also convincing. We're definitely coming. again. Thank you very much for this wonderful Juist break in the home port with the Drees family.

Vacation in March '23: Arrive and relax! Stylish, detailed and fully furnished rooms. The Drees couple are super helpful and accommodating, nothing was missing. The location is beautiful and quiet. People with walking difficulties have to master a small incline with a wheelchair/walker; there is an elevator in the building.We will be back.

Five stars are not enough. Here you come as a stranger and leave as a friend. This loving, honest care of the guests by the Drees couple is uniquely beautiful. Without being intrusive, your wishes are read from your “eyes”.That makes it all the more difficult to say goodbye. Oh yes, there are also apartments. 6 stars would definitely be appropriate here. We had a one-room apartment with a direct view of the harbor and the Wadden Sea (Wilhelmshöhe) with a balcony.The first-class included “hotel service” is simply great and should be a benchmark for other apartment providers.Breakfast is not included, but can be booked daily and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of freshness and selection. Really delicious.Thank you, dear Drees, for the great, family-like care. We come back to “our family”. The name Heimathafen is perfect for staying with the Drees family. Staying here for a while is like coming home. The rooms are very nice, cozy and lovingly furnished, we had a great view over part of the harbor, the mudflats and the dunes. The breakfast with the daily selection of different delicacies was great, it is prepared individually for the guests and brought to their place, the selection is very extensive and very beautifully presented. The hosts, the Dress family, are wonderfully warm, they always had an open ear and the fact that they run the home port with a lot of passion, love and commitment was more than noticeable. Dear Dress family, thank you very much for everything and we will be back!
