We were guests for 3 nights with our 3 small children. The hosts were very nice and the concept of the meadow bed fits perfectly (hardly any livestock, our children were thrilled with the rental bunnies, comfortable beds, cool cooler that works great, shower and toilet great). The hosts were very nice and, after a short consultation, provided us with delicious breakfast and dinner (very inexpensive, meat from their own farm, homemade dumplings, plenty of choices). We were able to eat outside in peace while the children were with the donkeys (within sight). Thuringian hospitality is still very important here. We will definitely be back (you have to see the Thuringian Sea!).

Idyllically located glamping tents, very well furnished. The words are very kind and accommodating. With a swimming area at the reservoir and a farm (cattle, geese, donkeys, chickens...) with a cozy restaurant.

Wonderful place to unwind. The tent cabin has everything you need and you can actually go for a few days without electricity. The cool box with frozen hot water bottles is the highlight and will definitely be taken into your own garden as an idea. If necessary, there is always the restaurant a few steps away. If you want, you can be directly involved in the running of the farm (feeding the animals, making hay, etc.). It's just a few steps to the Saale and you're there in no time. A small ferry takes you across to the other bank. Hiking trails are well signposted around the Saalestausee network. The E3 runs directly behind the huts and half an hour uphill from here there is one of the most beautiful views over the Saale and the countryside. The Hohe Leite. Definitely come here. It is worth it ..

We spent a long weekend in the lodge tents with a group of men. It was quite cool (due to the time of year) and unfortunately also rainy, but the operators can't do anything about that. What they are responsible for was excellent.Very friendly and helpful innkeepers.Very good and inexpensive cuisine.Appropriately furnished tents.Just right for us.We can highly recommend both the restaurant and the accommodation.

I can only highly recommend it. Located directly at the ferry, opposite the Linkenmühle, it is very idyllic here. The restaurant is very cozy. The food was relatively cheap and very good. The best gastronomy we found at the dam.
