Very friendly innkeeper! The schnitzels are highly recommended and so is the house liqueur. We'd love to come back!

😋👌Gᴀsᴛʜᴀᴜs Mᴏ̈ʀʟᴀ👌😋 - 𝙍𝙚𝙣𝙯𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙞𝙡 1Word of mouth was obviously busy, I've been trying to get a table in the newly taken over restaurant in beautiful Mörla for two weeks.I've only heard good things lately, countless people have written to me saying "You have to go there, they can cook really well"..."the schnitzels, world class".."People from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania have made the proper dumplings can do"If I hear this from all directions, there must be something to it. So I drove to Mörla with my Mandy last night to spontaneously snack on a schnitzel...The place was full, all the schnitzels...I felt like a little boy who had been forgotten by Santa Claus...But well, the shop has been virtually overrun for two weeks and we were only there shortly before eight, proof that frozen food is not used here, but rather freshly prepared. It should be a brawn later, but let's get to the ambience first. As usual, the inn (formerly Hodes) is idyllic, located in the middle of Mörla. A large parking lot on the property, meadow, trees, a playground for children, a beer garden and of course the hotel (just opened) including the comfortably furnished restaurant.A lot of wood, a lot of rustic, you sit comfortably, in the next room there is a bunch of grannies, in a good mood.We immediately feel at home, in the lap of Mörla with beautiful Thuringian gastronomy...Ha, if it weren't for the innkeepers. With the name "Neuthüringer", the family including their son moved to us from distant Mecklenburg to enrich the pub life of the Rolschter Kaff.We are greeted with Berlin dialect, funny and unusual in our deepest province."There's no more pig today, I'll take a look in the kitchen to see if there's anything else"The two hosts Antje and Christian, immediately likeable, really lovely people. While the 25-year-old son Enrico works in the kitchen, we talk shop with the two of them about business. The connoisseur in me immediately senses that these three are experts. They wanted to downsize and found what they were looking for with us.I also found what I was looking for in the menu. While I enviously marvel at the remaining, huge premium schnitzels (see photo) that other guests were able to scoop up, I decide on brawn with fried potatoes...10.60 euros!!!The beer €3.90 (0.5)The wine €3.80The schnitzels around 15 eurosI spoke to both of them about their low pricing policy and the completely exaggerated portions.“We want to generate a good flow, the restaurant should always be full and the guests should always be satisfied”I think it makes sense, although 3 euros more per huge portion wouldn't have hurt anyone, just because of the quality. We guests are happy.I ask other guests how it tasted. The dishes were unanimously praised. My brawn is coming...Really hearty home-made brawn, homemade tartar sauce, oil and vinegar...crispy, golden-brown fried potatoesTastes damn good to me!So good that we made a reservation for Saturday. Then the schnitzel test takes place! Conclusion: We have rarely been so warmly welcomed and entertained. The shop has been popular with the villagers and us city dwellers from day one.Although there is still a lot in the works. Antje, Christian and Enrico show here that high quality can also be offered at fair prices. My gut feeling tells me two things: The excellent cuisine is first-class, home-style and the concept will be a success if the three of them continue like this. With this in mind, a warm welcome to Rudolstadt to the Schwarz family, you are an enrichment for the region with your business and your warmth!!!!Phone/WhatsApp: 03672410101Opening times see pictures!Keep it up!!!!!Your Andre!
