We stayed there for four nights and booked the double room under the attic and the kitchen. Very good value for money and a really nice owner. You should know that the room and bathroom are very small. It didn't bother us. Reminded me a lot of my first single apartment. We felt very comfortable, we just wanted to sleep and were out and about a lot. kitchen, wasThe right decision to book her. Were completely independent of time and space. But already a lot of stairs. Not a problem for us yet. A star deduction because the night bar room is somehow close and it is quite loud early on from the street noise. But we will come back and can only recommend it.See you soon from Chiemsee.

My partner and I went on a short trip to beautiful Saalfeld in mid-May, explored the city center, visited the historic Bergfried park and visited the fairy grottoes. We were accommodated in this pretty, family-run guesthouse where we immediately felt comfortable and at home. Everything you need is there. As self-caterers, we were not tied to a breakfast time and therefore not an alarm clock. In the double room including a mini kitchen we found everything we needed - cutlery, dishes, coffee machine, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, towels and much more. The idyllic guest garden invites you to end the evening with a glass of wine.In just a few minutes on foot you can reach many sights, shops and restaurants. The city has thought about sufficient and inexpensive parking spaces. For us, Saalfeld and the surrounding area are among the excursion destinations that we would like to visit again!Many thanks to the Kopplin family for the lovely accommodation!

We had the double room in the garden house from March 10th to 13th, 2024. Nice, clean and quiet. The parking space for the car on the enclosed property is also very advantageous. The nice landlady has a passion for decoration. Both indoors and in the garden. The breakfast was super tasty and appetizingly prepared. Unfortunately the room and the breakfast room were "cold to the feet". That was a bit uncomfortable. The sink in the bathroom is unfortunately tiny and a few hanging hooks and a rail for the bath towels would be desirable. But well suited for a short vacation or a weekend. Value for money is unbeatable. 54.00 euros per night for 2 people!! with very good breakfast. WiFi can be used free of charge.

A very nice little guesthouse. The landlords very friendly and helpful. I spontaneously booked a small room. I was offered a kitchen for my own use during this period. It was well equipped and I felt completely comfortable.There are parking spaces directly on the property and if you want, many things are easily accessible on foot.

Landlord very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is prepared with love every morning. Rooms clean and cozy. Location of the guesthouse in close proximity to the Bergfried spa clinic and the Saalfeld center. Parking space on the property and bus stop directly in front of the house. Was there for 1 week and felt very comfortable.

We felt very comfortable. The house, garden and rooms are well maintained and clean. We received a friendly welcome and were recommended nice places to visit. The location of the guesthouse was ideal, 10 minutes from the city center.

I was very satisfied with the room, the service and the location. Ms. Kopplin tries very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The room was very comfortable and clean. The rented kitchen also left nothing to be desired. You can sit comfortably in the garden and park the car on the enclosed area.The guesthouse is very conveniently located and in just a few minutes you can reach the center with shops, restaurants and the cinema. The outdoor swimming pool is also just a few minutes away...it was too cold for that during my stay...but I'll definitely be back.
