It was very nice and you could even look at the seas/rivers and you could walk almost everywhere in the forest but the thing in the room wasn't ok. I slept 2 people in a room with my friend and when I wanted to go to sleep I told him I was given the key and the door stayed open so I locked it up but closed it and every time I go to sleep the door opens automatically and you can't lock it from the back and there were spiders everywhere but it was okay

Worst school trip in 22 years of service. Structural condition of the barracks in the early GDR with single-glazed wooden windows that were either warped or completely screwed shut (at 35°), doors that were difficult to open, beds that smelled of urine, not all of which had washable covers and fittings without mixer taps and with boilers not enough for 9 children in a hut. The individual rooms were not lockable. Four injured children, two emergency admissions (€200 taxi costs) to Königswusterhausen KH because of bruised fingers/hands (in the case of a girl whose fingernail was torn out) due to the 20th century windows and doors that were difficult to operate for 11-year-olds. A boy with his palm cut open by a cracked door window from just knocking on it. The so-called "mobile homes" are trailers standing in the sun with windows that cannot be opened properly and nests of newly hatched insects at the head of the mini beds in the mini sleeping bunks. The once beautiful sports fields are completely neglected and unusable (high ropes course, play water course), the floor was just dirt and dust. Without the magnificent nature around the lake it would have been unbearable. The staff is completely unfriendly and unloving, and the food is equally unimaginative. Nothing healthy, mostly sausage meals. For lunch, twice pasta, once mustard, once rice pudding. Dry bread or rolls with cold cuts and cheese in the morning and evening. No fresh vegetables or fruit. You had to beg for butter, which not everyone got, as well as coffee (which was only available in the morning). The only nice thing was the facades, which were probably freshly painted every week and were not allowed to be hit by footballs. Very emblematic of the whole concept, right down to the IT appearance, which can almost be described as a deliberate lie. Wow on the outside and yuck on the inside. Youth Tours should remove this goal from its program.Absolutely not suitable for children and not recommended, neither for families nor classes (ours were 6th grade), perhaps especially for adult groups on a Berlin tour. If it isn't thoroughly renovated, the facility has no future.

We spent a week on holiday in this youth hostel with our after-school children. The Matt family gave us a very friendly welcome and responded to our wishes at all times. The property is very spacious and offers everything that is fun for children. They were able to let off steam in the playgrounds and take a long swim. The youth hostel's offers to rent rowing boats and go on a night hike with the forester were very nice. These offers were very well organized by the hostel manager and the price was also ok.Unfortunately, many children were in the youth hostel with a Leipzig holiday company City Kitz and behaved impossibly. Unfortunately, the supervisors didn't have the kits under control and they don't have the right name!!Unfortunately we also have to complain about something. Unfortunately, the food was in no way tailored to health aspects. No whole grain products for breakfast and dinner. Only mixed bread and white rolls. We would have liked more choice there. The fresh fruit selection also left a lot to be desired. This is certainly not possible at these prices, but we believe that you would definitely pay a little more for it. It would also be desirable for the milk or chocolate for breakfast to be warm.We were also surprised that the rice pudding was served cold for lunch.Overall, we can say that our children had an eventful week. If you consider the price-performance ratio, you can say that overall it's okay and you just have to accept a few compromises when it comes to food. One suggestion would be to set up a drinks vending machine, which would certainly be put to good use.We wish the Matt family all the best. They do everything to make the guests feel comfortable and try to fulfill all their wishes.

This holiday camp is absolutely not recommended. A punishment camp is probably more likely. Everything dirty. I would never do that to my daughter again.

Everyone seems very nice and open-minded. But then our child saw and heard right-wing extremist slogans, songs, signs and gestures. The 12-year-old children in his house brought this derogatory attitude with them from home.City Kids' on-site support didn't stop this or even address it.

The property is located at the gates of Berlin and is easy to reach by car or bus. You live in simple rooms or bungalows; some of the toilets and showers are shared facilities. The facility has existed for many decades and is certainly getting old. One or the other would like to be renewed. But it is always tidy and clean, the food (both breakfast, lunch and dinner) tastes delicious and is absolutely sufficient. We have been coming to holiday camp with a lot of children for many years, regardless of whether they are vegetarians or picky eaters, everyone finds something and gets fed! Of course, the somewhat remote location with its own great swimming area is ideal. Here the children can run around and be a little louder. Boat rentals are also available. The owners run the property with love and dedication, you can tell that everywhere! No matter whether as a child or as a carer, we have always enjoyed going there and will continue to do so in the future! Thank you for the great time!!!

With our youth fire brigade we did exciting exercises and trained fire-fighting attacks. The food was just great and we even got to grill and sit around the campfire! …
