We just stayed with the Heist family for 4 nights. The apartment was perfectly divided for the grandparents, me and 2 children. The apartment has everything you need and we felt very comfortable. There are dogs and rabbits on the farm. The children were allowed to look after the rabbits and go into the stable at any time. The horses are in the pasture behind the farm. Unfortunately, the children couldn't ride because the riding pony was too weak due to the flies. But the big one was allowed to go for a ride on the tractor, a highlight. We'll definitely be back!

This review refers to the horse boarding house.Offer: indoor boxes and group paddock during the day, open stable; in summer only 24/7 grazing; Riding arena with lightingOn the day of the inspection, the boxes were cleanly mucked and littered, the paddocks were moderately clean. The day paddock has completely unacceptable soil (see photo 2). Good quality hay and straw were available. Full board or half board with self-muck was agreed. The reality was as follows: On the day of the move-in at the end of April, contrary to statements to the contrary, all the horses were simply put out on the meadow WITHOUT grazing. Nothing was organized and the stable operators were unprepared to accommodate the new horses. Far too much grass for far too few horses led to varying degrees of laminitis, some of which went unnoticed. Objections in advance were dismissed.A gelding who acted as a stallion (apparently for the first time) was not removed from the mixed group. A separation into two groups was rejected. The SB was overwhelmed with feeding the horses stabled because of laminitis, or rather refused to fulfill its obligation to provide proper feeding and passed everything on to the adjuster. However, she was happy to pocket the money she had paid and ultimately only paid back a fraction of it after repeated pressure and then in a completely inappropriate manner. The sick horses should move out as quickly as possible. The drainage stones from the riding arena come through and disturb sensitive hooves.Accommodation only takes place with an oral contract, the terms of which are “changed” retroactively and unilaterally in a completely absurd manner. There is no daily check on the horses in the pasture. Conclusion: completely irresponsible, work-shy stable operator; no support in an emergency; generally priced at a high price, completely overpriced due to lack of compliance with the agreements; dangerous to health, definitely not recommended. One star because of the good quality of our own hay and straw. Everything else is a disaster.

We had a really great time on the farmMy son was always allowed to be there (driving the tractor, driving the combine harvester, pressing hay bales, etc.) but the girls didn't miss out either! !! Everyone was allowed to move freely around the farm and look after the horse... tears flowed when we said goodbye because we had such a great time on the farm

We were there for a week and had high expectations based on the website. Unfortunately, our expectations were anything but met.It started as soon as we arrived. Only the daughter was there, who briefly showed us the apartment. She was also the one who showed us at least a little bit of the farm, i.e. horses, a cow, rabbits and the chickens. Otherwise no one felt responsible. It was once offered to ride a horse or take a tractor to the herd of cattle, but it stayed that way. There was actually never anyone there to ask. The apartment itself was equipped with everything you need - including a dishwasher, washing machine and air conditioning - but differs from the pictures on the homepage, at least when it comes to the furnishings in the living and dining room.On a farm I don't expect hygienic cleanliness like in a 5 star hotel, but it is to be expected that obvious cobwebs and dead mosquitoes like the ones we found on a window in the bedroom will be removed beforehand. The next problem was in the bedroom: the bed. This seemed to have only been put together with wooden dowels. The consequence: it fell apart at one corner and I had to put it back together in the hope that it would hold. The bathroom itself was completely adequate with a shower and sink (the toilet is separate), but you had to hold a sliding segment of the shower panel in your hand every time you opened or closed it.Another problem that lasted throughout the entire vacation: two and sometimes three of the dogs were kept in a fenced area directly in front of the apartment. So far so good. I'm also okay with the fact that you don't seem to be taking the dogs for a walk (given the number of dogs and the work on a farm), but I find it unappetizing, especially when you're holiday guests, to collect the dog's leavings. They then leave them there in a bucket like this for several days. After collecting the remains, you can dispose of them directly or not?In any case, we imagine a holiday on the farm differently! We didn't experience the farm as described on the homepage. Petting zoo? where? Herd of cattle? somewhere in the pasture - according to the daughter, it should be replaced by a smaller species. Horse breeding, riding offers? Nothing there for people without their own horse. The trampoline was where it was supposed to be according to the homepage, but it was too placed and there were lots of things on it, so you couldn't use it at all. Contact person? None!Unfortunately I can't find anything good about the farm, maybe the air conditioning in the holiday apartment... but that's it...In any case, we were there for the first and last time.
