We were only there to eat, but the boss told us that there are also 12 double rooms. There is a taproom, a restaurant and a separate room for around 50 people. Motorcyclists have the opportunity to park in a “garage” when staying overnight. The food was outstanding! Price performance absolutely top, service attentive and very accommodating. Absolutely recommended! The greeting from the kitchen was particularly attentive.

I had a wonderful time dining here. The staff is kind and helpful. The food is delicious and the plating is really pretty. I would definitely come back if i am in the area again. The only negative i can think of is the language barrier as the staff doesn't speak English and my German isn't great. But that didn't keep the staff from being amazing and the food delicious and filling. If you have the opportunity to stop by, i would highly recommend it!

The restaurant is awesome! Great food, tasty and beautifully presented. Eyes and mouth are pampered. The staff is super friendly and there is also a great playground. All in all five stars because the quality is worth the slightly higher price. I can't write anything about the rooms.

We were allowed to sit in the schank room with our dog. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant itself. Friendly and very hospitable employees served us delicious drinks and food. This restaurant is great and definitely worth a stop and/or pleasant evening.

I had schnitzel with a cream sauce served separately, the fries were served in a Spitztuete = just for show = leave it out. My wife's vegetarian bowl. We both enjoyed it. Price/performance completely okay.

Thesperre is a wonderful address if you want to eat great food and stay overnight near Winterberg. The comfort rooms are individually and lovingly furnished. Here you get the all-round feel-good package, crowned by the warm service of the hosts!We had to cancel our third booking at short notice due to illness. Ms. Simon was very accommodating and found an accommodating solution. Thank you for that! We hope to be able to reschedule our visit soon. :)

We went here with the family for the breakfast buffet. The selection was plentiful, but I personally would have liked a little more cheese. All requests were very kindly addressed and the price/performance ratio surprised me.All in all: Any time again, I can only recommend the lock.

We did not stay at Die Sperre but came in for dinner and thoroughly loved it! The food was excellent with the desserts deserving special mention. They also went above and beyond for the kids, including cute placemats and glasses. Highly recommended!

We reserved a table for 7 adults and one child by phone. When we arrived at the restaurant the table was set up in a very child-friendly manner. The place is very clean and tidy. The menu is short but there is something for everyone. The drinks and food we ordered came to the table at the same time and quickly. All dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted very good. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone. We would be happy to come back on our next visit.

We were here twice for dinner, the cuisine is excellent. I would like to highlight the vegan dishes, they are more creative and appealing than in most upscale city restaurants, a real treasure for vegetarians and vegans! Upon request, I was also served a non-alcoholic aperitif, which was not on the menu and tasted excellent. The beer garden is also very nice. We will come back!
