A nice hotel. Rooms are well equipped. The breakfast buffet is sufficient and offers something for everyone. Vegans are also considered. The wellness area has everything you could wish for. 3 different saunas are available. The pool is very nice. Unfortunately the whirlpool was closed.

Unfortunately the hotel looks a bit run down from the outside. Inside I was pleasantly surprised.I had a very nice single room with a magnificent view of the lake.The wellness area was relatively large and clean. Unfortunately the bar was not occupied.The evening buffet was also great, especially the large selection of starters. The breakfast (buffet) was also great.

We had a room with a lake view and a balcony. That was really very nice. But it was a shame that some things weren't communicated correctly, e.g. that you can't have your drinks written to your room when you eat. Instead, you have to go back to your room and get money so that you can pay the bill immediately.Unfortunately, in the spa area there is no option to drink or order water from dispensers if the counter is not occupied. At least you could have it written in the room IF someone was present.

A bit outdated hotel. Rooms are largely sour, but only if you don't look into the corners.Breakfast was very good. Spa area clean and well maintained.

Price/performance not justified. The location is extremely good and beautiful, the lake and the promenade are fantastic. A big plus: you can take your dog with you, albeit for €15 a night. Realistic would still be 100-110€ per night, here are the reasons: The water in the 1.36 m deep pool is far too cold, the whirlpool is closed, the mattresses are extremely saggy, there is a hollow in the middle. The room is getting old, but was previously furnished with taste. The shower leaked, the water ran into the room onto the carpet. No storage space in the shower, no refrigerator in the room, no air conditioning, in any case we had extremely high, stuffy room temperatures in the morning.The reception is no longer staffed after 11 p.m. and is sometimes unfriendly, sometimes very friendly. The buffet was way too expensive at €49.Parking: Free according to the internet. There are 15 parking spaces on site that feel really free, but the official parking lot is subject to a fee. ~8€ per night?But what bothered us the most was the fact that the spa area closed at 10 p.m. and, at least initially, despite much discussion, we were not allowed to stay in the sauna until 11 p.m. The customer is king? There was also a bar there only until 5:00 p.m.

Very nice rooms. Was housed in the building right next to the main building. But there is a connecting passage. Breakfast very good with a view of the lake.

It used to be good...Unfortunately I can no longer say that.The restaurant and wellness staff are great, the food too, and the location on the lake anyway. But location isn't everything.There is a bar in the wellness area that is not staffed, and the alternative place to order is also not staffed... Where is the service here? You are put off until the wellness staff finish their treatments, then you could order, basically once an hour?The whirlpool is closed, this is not mentioned anywhere, the Leonardo bar has too few staff. Hmm.... The prices are definitely too high for that...

We traveled as a couple with a dog. We were able to get one of the last rooms (the Karl May Festival was taking place at the time of our trip) and were therefore happy to have gotten a room at all. The room was at the bottom towards the lake, but without a view of the lake and with a construction site and an unkempt outdoor area in front of the patio door. However, I strongly suspect that it was actually one of the very last rooms available. The lady at the reception seemed very reserved and cold, but that is my personal impression. Check-in and check-out hassle-free. We had breakfast on the large terrace with a view of the lake and it was excellent. The breakfast staff in particular were extremely attentive and hard-working. It should also be mentioned that our room was extremely far into the interior of the building. Still doable for us with suitcases, bags and dog, but very inconvenient. We had to get to and through the side entrance, two hallways, first elevator, two long hallways again, next elevator and another long hallway. Second elevator very tight and if the card doesn't work the whole thing goes back and starts again. As I said... it was probably just the very last room available.

Very old-fashioned hotel with great charm that I definitely recommend. Romantic rooms with a lake view and a balcony if you want to sit outside when the weather is nice. Directly at the hotel you will find the promenade with seating to relax. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Segeberg.

Older hotel-spa-hotel, with different areas, room was good, clean, bed OK, unfortunately the water in the shower didn't drain during my visit, I had the impression of being a bother at reception (both on arrival and departure , as well as the report of the shower problems) Breakfast was very sufficient and generous and everything was delivered several times, the parking situation on site is not the best, here you can escape for €5.00 and then take the hotel parking lot, next to the reception or from there Outside there is a party place with super friendly staff (haven't seen them in a long time, with white shirts and black vests and a bow tie). Prices from €6.50 for a large beer, cocktails from €9.50, good mixed music.
