I was there for a week with my two daughters. We had two hours of riding lessons every day. It was just right for my daughters. Ms. Henseler had a wonderful sense of the level at which lessons could take place. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back. The holiday apartment (“Western Pleasure”) was also very comfortable. The very steep stairs were challenging 😀

Great riding lesson with great, well-trained horses.

I spent a week in the “Pleasure” holiday apartment with my daughter and booked the “Holiday in the Western Saddle” and I can only recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy absolute peace and quiet. Ms. Henseler is extremely organized, the apartment (especially the huge bed) was super nice and clean. Ms. Henseler gives excellent lessons from ground work to riding lessons. My daughter and I have learned a lot in such a short time. The horses are extremely well trained. The trail ride led through a great landscape and all the horses were totally relaxed. I really liked that everything took place in very small groups, a maximum of 5 people for the ride and a maximum of 2 for lessons, so that each rider could and received the appropriate attention that they needed. We will definitely come back! Thank you for the great organization, the support and the instructive lessons.

I have gone on trail rides several times and am a horse owner myself. Our three-hour trail ride was a disaster. The guide's horse refused to run any further after 200 meters. She had to lead her horse for a total of 2.5 hours because it couldn't be ridden forward. Absolutely unprofessional. We had to constantly wait for them and could only ride at a walk. Everyone had to dismount in the cow meadows; the horses were terrified and tried to break away. The situation was really dangerous. When we wanted to take a short break, cows suddenly appeared out of nowhere and the horses suddenly started running. Anyone who goes on trail rides past cow pastures must also have horses that are used to cows. This is purely a training matter. In the middle of the ride, my fellow rider's bridle broke. The equipment should last for three hours of riding. For the first 2.5 hours we could only walk or lead. At the end, the riding guide got a whip and was able to ride her horse for half an hour, so that we were able to trot at least twice. We didn't feel like we were in good hands, nor did we have a nice ride. For 90 euros it's honestly a disgrace. The price is already quite high anyway, but if it is so unprofessional, the guide only has to lead, the horses go crazy in the cow meadows and, last but not least, a bridle breaks, then it is pure stress and not a nice trail ride. It's a shame, we were so looking forward to the day and the 65 minute journey each way.

Unfortunately, a planned 3-hour hiking ride turned into a 2.5-hour walking ride. When asked about a bit of trot/canter the response was not very professional…A trail ride usually consists of 70% walk/ 20% trot/ 10% canter. The riding guide actually wanted to send us (the experienced riders) on alone so that we could continue riding in pairs with the beginner. That with horses you don't know, in unfamiliar terrain. Irresponsible! Therefore, my recommendation would be to clarify riding skills in advance so that groups can be divided into experienced riders and beginners. Or to communicate clearly in advance that it is purely a step ride.In addition, my mare ran extremely sensitively and could hardly walk on uneven ground. It looked similar with the other horses! Given the condition of the hooves, irons or hoof shoes would definitely have been appropriate. With a “so-called” horsemanship trainer and experienced trail rider, I would have liked the horses to be a little more calm/ridable.There were several situations and reactions that were unusual and sometimes even dangerous. So I can't make any recommendations here at all.

Unfortunately, the riding skills were not clarified in advance, so the group of 6 riders was only planned as a walking ride due to a beginner. After I discussed the topic and my disappointment about it, the initially friendly riding guide became quite taciturn and seemed offended. But then she offered a few short trotting routes, strangely right next to a busy road, which I can't understand. In my opinion, the horses are not suitable for all beginners, so unfortunately I cannot recommend the stable for advanced riders or beginners. A pity. We definitely won't go there again.

Very warm and professional! It puts "riding" in a much better light!Above all, the focus is on dealing with the horses! Understanding and interpreting horse signs.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I've never ridden so relaxed and I'm still really excited about the great horse I was able to ride. Thanks for the great experience. We'll definitely be back!
