Hotel on Inselweg

Hotel at the height very quiet the rooms are a little far from the reception building the receptionist was very nice we feel at home the room very spacious bright clean the only downside is the scary mosquito that we had in our room apart from that a hotel visited👌

We are always guests at the Inselweg. The associated restaurant is centrally located and just a few steps away

Unfortunately I was disappointed several times:-Booked a hotel room in the Kunstmühle. But I was put up in another "hotel", 250m away from the reception and (breakfast) restaurant; When I asked if there was a way to get a room in the main building as booked so that I didn't have to walk 250m through the rain in the morning for breakfast at 9 degrees, the only answer I got was: No, fully booked. No apology, no accommodation-The room in the "Hotel am Inselweg" unfortunately has NOTHING to do with the beautiful rustic rooms shown in all the pictures. The rooms, above an oriental supermarket, are probably designed for weekly fitter accommodation. In any case, the room had some deficiencies. The worst thing about it, however, was that the heating stopped at night and in the morning both the bathroom and the room were relatively cool. Unfortunately, even the caretaker, who was informed twice, was unable to change this.-If you did manage to connect to WiFi, it was unfortunately usually so slow that you couldn't even think about working, let alone streaming.-The bathroom was good (although without heating), and the breakfast was also tasty.- After I asked, my bed was made up with a matching sheet the next day so that I didn't have to sleep half the night on the rubber cover of the mattress (see picture)- When asked about a late check out, the usual answer was: no. I suspect that this house is simply not run by professionals. Otherwise guest complaints/requests would be dealt with or addressed differently.If it were at least pointed out when booking or on the websites that you might be accommodated somewhere else, without direct access to breakfast and not in a beautiful historic building, you could at least be prepared for this or clarify in advance whether you can comfortably get from the room to the Breakfast can. But there was neither any indication in advance nor the question of whether it would be okay for you to spend the night somewhere else. All in all, I will stay at the Hotel Alte Post next time I visit Mindelheim.

The room was quite nice, but small. The balcony is small and the table is very unstable. However, we saw that the other balconies had no tables at all. The key card didn't work several times.The breakfast room is quite dark. Every three mornings the trash can in the bathroom was overflowing and there were used towels lying around on the floor. There was also garbage in front of the hotel (to the left of the main entrance) on Saturday, which had not yet been removed on Sunday. The reception without a table in the restaurant room seems a bit makeshift.We didn't feel uncomfortable there, the staff was nice and there were lots of fresh things at breakfast (but also lots of small, packaged ones).

Rooms are ok, unfortunately no air conditioning.

My room was clean and quiet. The bed was pleasantly hard. The breakfast was rich. Getting to breakfast in good weather isn't a problem if it's four houses away.

Great hotel, great value for money.The restaurant can only be recommended with reservation.Gladly again

We had booked a family room at the Hotel Kunstmühle for 3 nights and were accommodated in the neighboring house "Hotel am Inselweg". The room was very large and had a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed. Perfect for us! The bathroom was also large, it just couldn't be locked, but that didn't bother us.The room service was excellent, everything was really, really clean!
