Unfortunately, we were only allowed to drink something back then because there was no capacity for a Kaiserschmarrn.We came here specifically for this 🙈Maybe there will be capacity at some point 😅

As a group of 10 people, we were literally thrown out in a very unfriendly manner, with the excuse that they couldn't manage the staff, even though only half of the tables were occupied. Even the guests present shook their heads. Bauerngasthof Thanner gave us a warm welcome, put tables together and prepared a delicious meal and delicious cake for dessert.

Unfortunately, disastrous service.The gentleman is super unfriendly.During the time we were sitting there, he sent away at least 30 people because he was tired and exhausted (statement from him) and in a stroppy tone, crazy, even though the terrace wasn't really full.Unfortunately, at our table there was also poor service, food was booked incorrectly, drinks were booked incorrectly, etc., resulting in long waiting times. Then the coffee wasn't even given on the house.It's a shame because the food is really good.Well-intentioned tip to the bosses, I come from the wasteland myself, find sensible, trained staff or set up fewer tables.You won't see us again as long as the same waiter is there.

I absolutely cannot understand the negative comments. We, the 3rd plus baby, were warmly welcomed both on Saturday lunchtime and on Sunday evening.On Saturday we spontaneously stopped by for a cool spritzer on the terrace, and on Sunday evening we had dinner with a reservation. Service was great, food was great, the owner was very warm towards us and we had a good chat with him because we were the last guests.There will be a lease change at the end of October 2024.

I was thrilled, we received absolutely friendly service and were even able to enjoy warm food at 3 p.m. The cake was absolutely delicious.

We actually wanted to drink a coffee and eat a piece of cake, but unfortunately that didn't happen. Even though there were still seats available outside and the table reservations would have been later, the waitress rudely told us that we should leave, which we did have done, apparently business is going well that you don't have to rely on winning new customers. Be that as it may, we won't be seen here again and perhaps other times will come when the unfriendliness will perhaps become noticeable.

We wanted to stop in at noon with the children and were turned away absolutely rudely and inconsiderately. There were 2 (!!!!) tables occupied, everything else was free.The children were thirsty and hungry, and the innkeeper noticed that too. All they said was that he had no staff and we should leave. I have never experienced anything so outrageous and anti-children, the children cried and we were only wished a “nice day”.Zero stars would be appropriate.

Best to stay away from this location. The staff is extremely unfriendly and downright hostile to children. We wanted to stop in with a group of 14 people, but were asked to leave the restaurant immediately before we could even sit down.

A really beautifully located restaurant, I would always recommend the terrace, especially in summer. The view of the Apen panorama with the dairy farm in the front is a pleasure, especially at dusk. Inside there is a wood-panelled, rustic restaurant.We didn't have a reservation and the Chef de Rang offered us a place to sit outside until the next reservation change. A group of people canceled early on and he kindly told us straight away that we didn't have to rush with the food.The food is down-to-earth and hearty. The dishes with cheese are always particularly recommended; here we work together with the neighboring dairy, which is highly recommended. The onion roast was medium rare and as I said, the cheese spaetzle is highly recommended.I can thank the employees for a spontaneously successful evening. I went in to pay. I can only agree with the many other reviews here, the operator showed me and his employees a completely one-sided unfriendliness, insulted aggressively and openly gossiped about guests sitting outside. I have personally experienced completely messed up days in the catering industry, from various positions. Nothing gives you the right to treat guests and especially your staff in such a completely unprofessional way, you should think about that. This is not included in the evaluation out of respect for the employee.

There were two of us and we were sent away again shortly before 7 p.m., even though there were still seats available and a lady even said that we were welcome to sit with her. The landlord said the kitchen wouldn't be able to handle it, it would only be open until 7:15 p.m. - the internet says 7:30 p.m. Unfortunately I was rejected very unkindly.
